In the OVA, its more like a navy grey-blue than a total blue if am not mistaken. Ah well, a simple blue coat costs less to paint and can be re-used everywhere i suppose.

Not to burst the bubble but bandai loves vaporware. However, bandai maybe gearing up for a super premium sticker shock one day. But judging from the size of your macross collection, stickers dont shock you much.🤣
