I remember that Transformer. I think he was one of the craziest ones that was a city or like one of those slot remote controlled cars with an actual track in his other mode. I forgot his name and need to look him up. I think this was one of the last vintage Transformers I ever purchased because he was so crazy big. I got him around the time of those small jets that combined into the big robot. -

I was never a big fan of the extra armor parts. I'm not sure why. The design just seemed better without all that bulky stuff.

That's what I thought were the originals for Rook and Lancer. I'm glad I didn't have to go back and search for that post. If they are fan art it's pretty good. This company should at least talk about what is coming up. That's what I thought they were going to do when we got the finished Rand bike for pre-order. I don't like being in the dark about the other two. But maybe it's better this way and saves us the disappointment of seeing Rook and then not getting her.

I've had no problems with them on both cels and sketches. They usually have some of the better selections on Yahoo Japan that I've seen.

Someone posted the Rook and Lancer artwork a while back when I asked about it. Well they made the wrong decision. Beagle went out of business going by what was thought to be the right decision. The female characters sell and once again that's what I'm waiting before deciding who I will get. People these days also like to have the complete line. To start with the two easy characters and have the others in a limbo situation is almost crazy.

As I said before, eBay is part of the problem with scalpers. They had a banner on their home page which said they meaning scalpers had the SNES Classic available. Like somehow scalpers and flippers are now legitimate retailers.

I wouldn't deal with them at all. There was a great post on MFC which detailed how potentially bad they can be. I had a relatively small issue and they had an attitude. There are always other options. On other subjects though, are there any good Mirage military themed posters with her and the VF-31C? Kind of like that poster behind Hikaru in DYRL.

I'm surprised that Rand is up for order so soon. I thought they would show him first and maybe tease Rook. I need to know their plans for Rook to know which of these first releases I'm getting. Rand's face sculpt looks better than Scott's though.

The Gerwalk over water is pretty cool. But I never really liked that version of the VF-1 and overall both of these are kind of busy looking. These large scale statues for Macross and Mospeada are kind of disappointing. You would think they would come up with something iconic at that scale. Perhaps if someone makes a statue for Southern Cross the third time will be the charm.

I think I'm going to deal with Urban Treasure Hunter, they found something I might want. I never saw it on Yahoo Japan either. But I have to confirm it this weekend.

I tend to put more weight on the seller when dealing with used and items of this sort. They are the ones who purchased it originally and are in possession of the cel or whatever item. Maybe if the seller is selling for someone else. But then they should still check to see the value of what they are selling and know something about what the item is. To have a good auction between two parties that are individuals there should be open and complete communication about the item with as much detail as possible. The price of that Minmay auction says fan cel. And it looks like some of those you guys posted some pages back. Still it went for too much. I would put my money towards a sketch. I've never seen a cel not match what is on screen. That doesn't make sense unless it was some unknown cut sequence.

I guess I was one of those boys back then. It was cool. That first linked video from no3Ljm is from the episode where the Invid drop a building on the team. That was the best transformation sequence of the Cyclone. I think that episode was the first episode of Robotech New Generation that I even watched. Also Rook's intro in the 2nd episode and her showing Rand how to transform the Cyclone in the 3rd episode made her one of the best female anime characters.

I think I had a free subscription to Playboy at one point. Or somehow got a few free issues. I know I only own the one sealed Star Wars issue with the Asian actress that was the bad girl in Sky Captain. A website that probably got shut down had all the images of the Playmates and it was interesting to see how the look of the photos changed from the early days to present. The best Playboy memory I have is visiting one of the Playboy Club Hotels. I was a very young and just remember girls in bunny suits and they had I think water features all around the lobby. I didn't even know that there was a magazine then, just that it was a cool hotel with girls in cute costumes. I can't believe they let kids in. I'm sure I was barely ten years old or so. I think it closed down or isn't a Playboy Club anymore. I wish they stayed open though because it was far better than the Hooters and whatever else is out there these days.

I don't know what to say about that. A friend of mine always sees Anime Link at California conventions and says they have the good stuff.

What shop is it? Odd that they wouldn't fulfill your order with the next restock. I saw in this week's comic news that the last big Zelda book from Dark Horse is coming out next year. I'm looking forward to that one and completing the trilogy of books.

Looking forward to the details but worried as they are going the same way as Beagle with the releases. It's the easy way but I want Rook next. The price is lower but also the scale is smaller. Still I like the look of the revised bike to get it. I'll probably wait till release though. The new design doesn't give me the scares like that old version that I dislike. And I'll probably display it in bike mode only anyway. Those shots look really good.

Just wait for the bikini version if they ever paint and release her. It would have been nice to get a 1/4 or 1/6 flight suit version though.

It wasn't until I read one of the Robotech Art books that have the character profiles that I found out they were young. I think all the main characters in Macross, Southern Cross, and Mospeada were young. The only character I knew was in her teens when watching the show was Minmay. I thought most were at least 20s. Far older than I was at the time I originally watched the anime.

$500 is crazy pricing. No way. I need to search for the original Beagle price.

I think I would go with Arcadia as well from what I'm seeing. I could swear I saw a clip of one of the girls on the bike. Too bad they couldn't sculpt one of them to go with it.
