I know Shin is the hero valk, but man, that guy is the least heroic of all the main characters in the Macross realm... picks up a broom to fight a girl, crashes more than anyone. And ends up riding a big piece of wood at the end...

Yamato's was based on a resin kit and these guys probably studied the hell out of it... but that said, I agree. This one looks a ton better. If it holds up well structurally, I might get it.

The guy that did the instructions was given one night to do the whole thing. I bet it's full of mistakes but blame it on the crunch. I wonder if they improved it for the second run.

It was good to hear the theme during that hilarious 3D scene. I'll be honest though. I walked in during the middle of the first half. I had a meeting so I wanted to see something that ended right before it. I didn't really care what I saw. But in the middle of the movie I turned to my friend and said... Man! This movie is so much fun!
