Yes, most of the shows on that list are 1990s-present. Macross is down there at 59. Yamato is in the 60s. It's not a top 100 of all time poll so don't stare at it too much.

I don't see how ADV how ADV has any greater reach than Funimation. Besides TV (cable or broadcast), neither one IMHO, has any clear advantage. Unless we get down to the finances issue.

No. Guld did not appear. It's not surprising if M7 was well received since it was on broadcast TV compared to being sold as an OAV. Unfortunately, I have no sales data to compare the 2 series.

The only ones to see it were industry agents, who obviously did not want to pick it up for distribution. WTH???? So how many people were in the audience??? Like 10? When he says "industry attendees"... that tells me that no one has seen it. And 'public screening" my ass. "Industry attendees" are not the public. They don't open their mouths because they are the ones who want to buy the distrubution rights to films and are trying to out bid one another.

That's still rumor. The best idea for Penguin is to use the current motif of the "Legitimate Businessman". Otherwise, I don't see Penguin as a good villian. The current talk is on who is gonna play Harvey Dent since we have a DA position that just became open.

There isn't much history behind those paint schemes. They started as unofficial paint schemes that were published way back. People liked them and now we have kits for them.

Actually, Macross does fairly well. But the target market size is much smaller than say...Gundam.

I think you're right. Really, I can't fault him for it. Can't expect the guy to keep churning out the same kind of stories over and over again, that'll get boring. People change over time, and as a result their work is going to change too. As for a direct continuation to the original series, it's never going to happen. Fans really need to accept that and move on. 418663[/snapback] People need to get over the fact that Kawamori isn't going to do Macross like Tomino did Gundam. He isn't the kind of guy who is going to pump out sequels every few years. Otherwise he might end up like Tomino, never ever want to see Macross again, and only use it to get money for another project. If we had Macross every few years, we would end up just like the Gundam kids; UC vs AU, My Gundam is more powerful than your Gundam, blah blah blah.

I have a feeling they will draw some aspects from "The Killing Joke". At least the origin aspects.
