  1. Thanks for the pics, ff95gj! That chest piece on the 1/60 V.2 makes it seem like it has an elongated neck. I guess that synchizes it---I like these version 2 1/60's but the 1/48's will always be #1 in my book.
  2. From yer lips to God's ears ! Be nice to have a GBP-1 1/60 V.2 to outfit the HIKARU 1J and to have it sitting right next to a 1/48 counterpart.
  3. I'm glad I pre-ordered the 1J, it looks sweet! Thanks to all of you guys for the pics. Just can't believe I gotta wait another 2 weeks before I can get my hands on it. Oh, well, I guess some things are worth waiting for !
  4. As long as the hip on this particular release will not be so problematic as on the 1/72 version, I am sold !
  5. For me, it's the 1/48 version that takes the cake. I own both, but it's the sheer size of the 1/48 that makes it #1 on my list. It towers over almost every toy that I have to date, with the exception of the 1/12 Scopedog that is.
  6. I'm torn between a V.2 1/60 MAX 1S and a 1/60 FANJET, but voted for the latter. I have squat in terms of skills when it comes to building kits. a FANJET would look really nice next to a HIKARU VF-1J and a TV 1S, therefore completing the line-up (well, at least mine !).
  7. Sorry, guys, my bad. I guess that goes to say how much out-of-the loop I am when it comes to these new G.I. JOE releases. But at least I lucked out today and finally picked up this lil dude !
  8. I've seen the HISS TANK and the VAMP at a local TARGET and WAL-MART.
  9. The FASTPACKS were never shown to have any STRIKE cannons in the series, so what makes you think YAMATO will release them at all? (But of course, if they did that would make for an even more awesome 1/48 HIKARU 1J that a lot of us already have )!
  10. I'd like to know as well, because on my LAFtoys account it says "awaiting cc processing" and the only thing I've got on pre-order is the 1J that I have placed like almost 2 months ago.
  11. The price isn't too bad either on this bundled up SC/GCM pack. If I remember correctly, I got my old MOSPEADA set alone for around $50. I just might end up getting this one, too. Thanks for the heads up, guys!
  12. I'm leaning towards the side of caution this time around and wait for JENIUS' review. I don't wanna end up being disappointed about the BETA like I did for the very 1st ALPHA that I bought.
  13. True. I'd pick a Toynami 1/100 over a Banpresto any day of the week !

    Hikaru!

Nice acquisition there, MISTERRYNO! But I bet yer wishing it's the flight suit version ! I can't wait to pick one up! Thanks for the pics!
  15. From yer lips to God's ears! I really do hope the current "origin" line up does well so that we can be assured of a HIKARU 1S STRIKE re-issue !
  16. A 1/55 STRIKE HIKARU to go with my 1/48 and soon-to-be-released 1/60 V.2.......man, I would be in VALKYRIE heaven !
  17. Aaahhh, sure is a great time to be a MACROSS fan !
  18. FastPacks. Makes the VF-1 look sleek, aggressive and totally bad-ass!
  19. Here's a couple of pics from MACROSS MECHA MANUAL website. I'd have to say that both FP's definitely are green, albeit in different hues/shades/tinges or whatever you might wanna call it.
  20. HIKARU's 1J came with grey FP's? The 1/60 V.2 FP's looks to have the same color as on the 1/48 version.
  21. It will, at least according to the YAMATO web-site and the pics they posted on there.
  22. To each his/her own, I guess. As much as I love the design of the VF-1, it just isn't complete without the FP's on. I love that aggresive look on the armored VF-1.
  23. Not to get off the subject or anything, but I wonder if KEVIN (VALK-EXCHANGE) is putting up a pre-order for the V.2 1J?
  24. October, huh?!! Should be enough time for me to save up! Thanks for the heads up, guys !
  25. Not everyone dumped their 1/48's, I know I didn't! The 1/60 V.2's a welcomed addition to my collection, and if YAMATO ever came out with a 1/48 V.2 (which I doubt!),I'd buy those too but would still keep the old ones. 1/48's rule!!!
