    I'm so glad Sideshow has a monthly payment plan. Otherwise there was no way i was dropping that much all at once for Rex.

    Yeah Roy's VF-1S looks much better with a darker color Strike package. That off-blue color never looked good on his color scheme.

    INDEED. The 1/48's will always rule my collections. So sad that scale isn't supported anymore.

    Yeah, it's surprising the amount of closet collectors that you end up working with once you display something. I found about 3 of them in my department.

    I'm glad they went with Rex first. The Ray design always looked goofy to me.

    Nice to see the 80's kids representing. Also enlightening to see that many of us have well rounded collections & are not limited to only Macross.

    NICE! Nothing like the feeling of a sense of completion. For a collector it is rare. The upcoming V2 reissues almost tempted me to lift my boycott of the 1/60 scale, but i haven't met a collector that didn't have a headache with that adventure. The next step of customization is always fun... I'm still trying to figure out how to make a 1/48 scale Monster....

    Yeah probably. Each segment was about 100 pages. So i guess i need to see volume 2 & 3?

    I finally read the first 2 volumes translated, & i got to say, at first i didn't like the pedo-looking character re-designs seen on some of the cover art. Misa & Minmei looked all of 12 years old. But since it is toned down a bit in the actual manga it didn't distract from a very well done & reworked events of a classic storyline. It was an exciting read even though you generally knew what was going to happen. And if you are just looking at the illustrations you will be pleasantly wrong once you discover the actual dialogue. I'm very impressed. Now i got to find volume 3 translated....

    Damn good question! I just figured i missed the boat on those since i started collecting late. And where are they getting those Minmei Guard decals???!!!

    Most impressive!! The gold visor looks great on the stealth. Where the hell does one get those Minmei Guard decals?

    Someone cleaned out the regular olive drab at HLJ. Never cared for Yamato's factory weathering. Prefer to do it myself if at all. But atleast Yamato took some clues from Hasbro & milked the 2 molds with a few repaints before it was all over.

    Exactly! I found the Defender & Tomahawk at a local shop for under $20 MISB each. Once they got panel-lined & decaled they look great. AND yes... I definately have to get a Phalanx & a Spartan. Got to complete the Destroid set. Atleast Matchbox had the decency to put 4 out of 5 Destroids in the same scale.... (im talking to you Yamato )

    SWEET!!... I don't understand the hatred for the Robotech Destroids. For the size & price i think they look pretty damn awesome.

    So other then AmiAmi, CDjapan, AmazonJP, YesAsia & PlayAsia are there any other online outlets for getting this besides auction scalpers? I'm surprised. I could have sworn a few years ago there were many more reliable online stores that sold import games & dvd's.
