  1. So I haven't been playing this game for a while (been madly playing the Gundam Breaker beta release) and now that I've come back to M30 I forgot a few things. Mainly how to toggle the sort of hover mode in the Konig Monster as opposed to it's normal awkward gerwalk walking pace. One day I discovered a button combo to allow the Konig's gerwalk mode to hover and skate around like the other planes in gerwalk mode (albeit much slower) but now I can't figure it out again I was super stoked when I figured this out the first time because it really brought the Konig to life, it's a real bummer now that I forgot lol. Anybody know what I'm talking about??
  2. Do you think that applies to the mushrooms that boost your level as well?
  3. At the time there wasn't much information circling around about stickers defining the version on the box, which is out of character for Yamato. All there was to go off of at the time was information that all the metallic painted shouldered units were version 2, which obviously is not correct.
  4. That's what I thought until I bought MISB metallic shouldered one and it was version 1, it even said so on the box. The ebay seller swore up and down that it was a version 2...
  5. There seems to be quite a grey area surrounding the ver1 & ver2. Some time ago I researched the differences and how to identify the two, only to find that there are still version 1's with the version 2 box art with simply "Version 1 with clear armor parts" sticker on it somewhere. Be very careful buying these off of ebay unless you can get the seller to confirm which version it is, preferably with a photo. Plus I was under the impression that all the metallic red painted shoulders implied that the units were version-1, where-as the updated units had a gloss red paint, but I could be wrong.
  6. That's the standard issue yammy scopedog with the included clear parts, and version-1 if I'm not mistaken. I would avoid these, their very loose and struggle to stand on their own.
  7. I've had the same Havamal annihilation quest in my queue for a while now, can't figure out who/where they are.
  8. Looks to be the same level of quality as the real thing lol
  9. My general understanding is that everyone hated it. I enjoyed it on the other hand. The religious aspect was...different, but Teitania was a cool character and a real badass. Plus the loadout that Chirico uses on his AT in the last episode made for a pretty iconic Scopedog. I forget what that loadout was called, with the big shoulder cannon and the skid plates, but it's a shame there was never a 35max or DMZ version produced.
  10. You could buy a toy that could stand up on it's own for that money!
  11. ^Very cool. I saw some more pics of the new mecha on tumblr today:
  12. Enough with the reheated hero planes. Wheres the VF-25A release in the Macross-30 desert camo scheme?....
  13. Transport quests, as it has come to my attention, typically will have you grab an item box that spawns next to that city once you accept the quest. grab that item and take it to the designated area. As for the winter coat item, if it doesn't show you where to go on your map, then you might have the item already. Check your ship inventory.
  14. I wonder if there is a chance to add an aircraft section to the guide at some point? Something to at least translate the weapons loadout (both default and with the packs), also I believe there is a blurb description of each craft in the game below the stats that might be interesting to have translated. Mainly the weapons being translated would be a great help. For example the standard and Alto YF-29's have the beam turret as Box #3, but the Ozma YF-29 has some sort of powerup (barrier perhaps?) for the Box #3 slot. Again huge thanks for all your hard work Zorostres, you really brought this game to the western market. Artdink needs to be sending you a check for every North-American sale they make.
  15. I've heard everything from thinner to carb cleaner for tampo marking removal. Most of the info I can find via google seems to be geared towards removing tampos from die-cast or painted parts, not much pertaining to bare plastics
  16. Preference of "display"? If a box on a shelf is all you want then I'm sure there are plenty of people who would happily give up their empty boxes if that's what it takes to have a chance at actually owning some of these exclusives and using them for their intended purpose.
  17. That's a shame Many of us won't be able to acquire one of these gems, yet more and more people snatch them up only to leave them boxed on a shelf somewhere. I'm not sure I understand the Macross game sometimes...
  18. Some of the markings on the DX line (like "NUNS" on the VF-171) really ruin the aircraft for me, thus I'd like to clean up some of my craft by removing a few of the ridiculous and excessive markings. But these little details seem pretty robust and I'm hesitant to try to anything unknown. I've seen several threads on this site depicting other's attempts at removing the Yamato tampos, but I don't recall reading anything pertaining specifically to the Bandai DX line and some of the links in old threads are dead. Any advice would be appreciated.
  19. Thanks. It actually is in your guide, that's were I got the information from. Anyway I'm not sure where I ended up picking the item up from, but I grabbed it from somewhere last night and completed that quest. That's a great tip about the parenthesis, it was easy to find that item in my ship inventory. @Dio- that's the trick alright, I've been doing that since MAF. It sure saves a lot of time, especially if you load out yourself and your squadmates with the same valk.
  20. Is she applying chapstick or something? That clip seems a little out of place lol
  21. Now that this is a dead horse...has anybody actually determined where the item is for the VF-19A quest??? Moricone Hill: Cactus Vaccine I - deliver cactus vaccine to Vrlitwhal city (SDF) I see plenty of people have completed the quest, but nobody has mentioned where the item is in the first place
  22. The new styling of the Ingram kind of makes me lose interest already. That design looks more like a Chinese knock-off. I remember thinking Gyver was awesome as a kid, then I saw the live action film. Spawn was pretty cool too, then it went live action. Then there was Spiderman, X-men, Transformers, etc. I'm afraid to see what Pacific Rim has done to Evangelion, let alone what this will do to Patlabor. <--hopes for the best

    Macross 30

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in any of the various M30 threads we have going, but I noticed today that there is a Gamlin Diamond Force paint job for the VF-171EX. I thought that was a nice touch, especially since the VF-17's didn't make it into this game.
