  1. Wow. It does seem that the story is getting more complex by the book.
  2. That´s a very nice looking car. Let´s see if it looks like that if/when it hits production.
  3. For some reason I feel like drinking Lipton now? Some of you might have seen this one before. The Korean drummer stealing the show. The last minute in particular is priceless.
  4. I'd like to hear May'n do a cover of "For now a friend" from Macross II. And her and Megumi doing "Riding in your Valkyrie" would be pretty sweet too. And I'm 100% behind Gubaba's proposal for Yoshiki Fukuyama doing "My Boyfriend's a Pilot'
  5. Just placed my order. I had pre-ordered it some weeks ago but for some reason that dissapeared? Anyway, I'm looking forward to having it here in a couple of days.
  6. PM'ed u about 008.
  7. Ha, ha, that was one amazing spot in between all those "oppai"
  8. God, I'm bad with seeing little details like that. I see it now. Thanks.
  9. Does anyone have any idea what the red thing sticking out of the bag is?
  10. Yeah, its been quite funny so far. What I find most surprising so far though is the stunning lack of fanservice for a what is a fairly modern TV series. I'm four chapters in and I have yet to see a a single gratuitous panty shot? And yeah, Kikuko Inoue's voice is most pleasant to these ears
  11. I just got lent Ah My Goddess season 1 from a friend who insists I should watch it. Just looking at the box and reading the content, it doesn't exactly seem like my kind of show (not really into show's that blend slice of life with magic/supernatural), but I'll give it a shot. Should at least be fun.
  12. When is a remake not a remake? When it's a remake of Commando? http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/commando-remake-david-ayer.php
  13. Nah, its ok. Conquest is a bit of a prequel to the series and came out some months before the series. And it serves as a bit of a "taster" for the rest. If you like this, you'll probably like the series. And it has the best use of Ravel's Bolero ever!
  14. Wow. Apparently the guy who made the video punched the holes on the music box card himself. It's kinda cool
  15. My suggestion to you would be to ignore the chronological order found in wikipedia and go straight to the 110 episode OVA. One does not need any previous knowledge of the films or side stories to start up on it. And its the best of the lot. Hope you enjoy it
  16. Yeah I saw it live too and my heart just completely skipped a beat. It's absolutely amazing that not only was no one seriously injured,, but McNish was walking around minutes later. Same for Rockenfeller after his crash. Here's a link to the clip and some pictures of the second crash http://auto-racing.s...-mans-accident/
  17. yeah, I'm on the second season now and you're right about it being an improvement over the first. However I still feel that they had some really good ideas and backstory that are let down by some really weak characters. If they made Dita and Hibika just a tad more intelligent and with better dialogue, this could have been a really excellent series. But I'll wait and see how it all plays out in the end. Only a couple of more episodes to go.
  18. Watching Vandread. It has a couple of good ideas plotwise, but its not really blowing me away. The 2 main characters in particular are very uninteresting. And the CGI is very distracting to say the least.
  19. It seems that you went on a scanning extravaganza...Thanks, there's a couple of pics i hadn't seen before
  20. Cool. I'll check it out soon. Turn A is sitting on my "to watch" list too. Are you enjoying it so far?
  21. High School of the Dead is to fanservice what Gurren Lagann is to mecha anime. Just when you think they've outdone themselves, they add even more of it. I suppose it is pretty distracting if one is trying to focus on the whole "end of the world thing". I just kinda accepted that fanservice galore was comedic in value and scope and just ended up laughing about it. But that's just me. They actually put out a short OVA not so long ago and that one takes the fanservice even further. I watched the original Mazinger back when I was a kid and loved it. I still remember the show as having some of the most outrageous robot designs ever (and there was a new one every week!). I never watched Mazinkaiser or the films. Is it possible to watch Mazinkaiser SKL without watching them first?
  22. Finally got the chance of checking out the podcast and thought you guys did a good job overall. The echo/sound levels thing was a bit annoying at the beginning but after a while it got a bit better. Still, those that are a bit further away of the mic, have to be aware of the fact and talk a bit louder to compensate a bit. Content itself was pretty good and it was cool to actually hear the voices behind some of you folks. I liked the little snippets of music you included to punctuate whatever topic iyou were talking about. Disclaimer> I only heard up until the 50th minute of the podcast in order to avoid spoilers. I'll probably have to wait some very long months to hear the rest
  23. Most excellent little project you have going on. Am downloading as I type. And I appreciate that you seem to have clearly marked the spoilers for those of us who have yet to see the movie.
