FB2012 would be the best thing ever, I heard rumors it was hard to get that license but can't remember the details.. Did it have something to do with making a toy transformable that was not seen in any other mode than fighter or something weird like that?

See Tking the sticker mention sealed the deal

I love the Yamato VF-19 molds, when they came out they were pretty hot and miles above the Yamato 1/60 YF-19. I bought every variant they produced and in multiples in some cases to form squads.
-
Yeah I think it would be a pain to try to cut in the slots required to fit the armor to the old Yamato VF-0's. I would just buy the new one and the armor set and be done with it.
-
I put mine on, but they were kind of a pain in the ass to get on the wings. Also the way the 21's tail fins work, when fiddling with the super parts it will some times pop off. I left them on ever since and have not touched them since.
-
@Tking22, Yamato did at one time sell the armor alone. I can't remember the retail pricing for it as I ended up getting the version that had the missile launch effect parts. If you were to sell it, would you cut out the stickers that go with it also? I have never opened mine so I am not sure if the valk sticker sheet is totally separate from the armor sticker sheet.

I'd rather see it made and something else

If possible I'd prefer the basic decals on like mentioned above. I don't want to mess anything up lol.

Yeah recast is a bad thing imo. Basically buy a kit and them recast it off of the parts you did nothing to design. That seems to fit the classification of "Bootlegging" especially if you are selling it at a profit.

Would most likely need ratcheted elbows and wrist to hold a gun like that, but yes I really need that in my life.

Welcome to my world Erikos . I have a lot of stuff that is unopened and sealed, and most of the stuff that I have on display are older releases because it is like Jenga up in here moving boxes in and around the closets then pulling stuff in and out of the boxes, let alone transforming a ton of toys from various different modes to fighter to get them back in to the boxes. I even have a massive tower of loot accumulating in the living room next to my completely full hobby table. Pretty soon my wife will probably murder me just so she can sell it all off and get the space back , cause she knows I will not part with it now haha. Guess what though, if more Macross toys come out I am damn sure buying them

Of course!! The armored VF-11C would be an instabuy for me. As far as the atmospheric packs, I was never a fan of those big honking things but if they made them I would get them just for completions sake. I know Arcadia is playing it safe and really don't have the luxury of taking risks, but I would love to see the VF-11 Radome and VF-11 Milia custom. And Damn you Arcadia finish off the Sound Force team one of these days!! (I know, really risky)

Me? I would like them to go to a matte finish on everything from the new series. I always preferred it, it makes the valks look less toy like when displayed. I was impressed when the YF-30 came out in that sexy matte finish. The high gloss just makes them look so plasticky (not a word lol). I also thought that Bandai would have made a swift move to the VF-1 series when they did that cameo in the movie during Ranka's concert. I gladly missed out on several occasions on the Macross Quarter, but I would love to see a Battle Frontier executed correctly, and couldn't they also do the SDFN-4 Global? that was also shown during the Galia 4 saga.

Gundam@ESEF, I think to date that the Yamato/Arcadia VF-1's are the best that we have seen as far accuracy in a 1/60 collector toy. Now the Scheme on the aniverasrio is another issue all together. That was a deal between Hasegawa and Arcadia, Hasegawa had the scheme on one of their kits that was designed by Hidetaka Tenjin himself. Arcadia just happen to hit the scene during the 30th anniversary and decided to cross license the scheme from the Hasegawa kit. Yes, as far as I know Bandai would have to go to Big West to try to get the license for SDFM/DYRL. I am not so sure if they allow multiple mfg's to make a toy in the same scale or in the same space though, I think someone else here knows more about the licensing practices of Big West. I think it could be cool to see a DX VF-1 also, but I am in no hurry for it at this point with my current collection of Yamato VF-1's. I also worry they would mess up the first time like they did with the Frontier version 1's or even like that 1/72 VF-1 kit that was all kinds of awful imo.

The add-on feet for the VF-1 seemed like they were there to fill out the proportions, VF-1 feet are pretty damn solid with the clicky ratcheted positions they had going. As far as "revenge", Arcadia does not need to get revenge. The only thing they would need to do at this point is add more tampo print back to the line up, or at least some water slide or dry transfer decals. The problem with that is that people are already concerned about the high prices as they cannot churn out volume like a large corporation like Bandai. Bandai will always have the upper hand in that regard, but at least you will always be able to get a pre-order in without losing sleep or missing out completely. Do you know how much stress I have endured trying to secure all of the Mac F valks . Not saying I did not get at least one of everything from the renewal lineup and the 1.5's, but damn man talk about crazy. Maybe one day Arcadia will get one of the older licenses once Bandai have moved on and maybe make some better stuff than Bandai ever did, who knows. Yamato was willing to make all kinds of obscure color schemes and valks and I really appreciate that. They seemed to be Macross fans first and a business second and that is why they tanked really. Taking too many risks for the sake of cool, but not raking in the cash that they should have been trying to make. Bandai has a lot of other franchises like Gundam that will always roll in the dough for them. Arcadia has to play the field very carefully being the small company that they are with not a ton of capital like Bandai.

^What exactly are you referring to? I get the feeling that they will be black, only because so far the 0A has the blue there. I get the feeling that Arcadia is trying to distinguish their Mac Zero line from Yamato's and are taking small liberties to the actual schemes. I could be wrong though so take dont take it as truth . We will know sooner or later once more test shots get released and the final color selections are made and shown by Mr.K. I am not fluent in Japanese, but I wish more users that were would go on twitter and tell Mr.K that we would like more tampo print, at least on par with Yamato. I just don't want it over done like the VF-19 Advance, but like a 3rd or so less than what Bandai did with that release.

OK, now my interest is piqued. I want to know too

I used to love this film growing up in the 80's. I had a matchbox toy that was very much like blue thunder even if it was not marketed as such. I don't really remember if it was labeled as a blue thunder toy or not, it's been a long time.

I'm not so sure that there really is a cancellation fee. All you have to do is is change your quantity to zero in you control panel and it is cancelled. I have never had them complain about it. I wonder if they mean if you cancel it once it arrives maybe.- 6025 replies

I'm digging the first 3 schemes, but can't do the plaid one I especially like how the 3rd one in low vis even has a low vis SMS marking.

Derex took the words right out of my mouth.

If they went to Votoms next, I think I would be in.. Maybe they could try to make the Patlabor Ingram toys again? Anything besides the creepy dolls

Maybe you can get it at BBTS and send it to your pile of loot. I never used the pile of loot function so I am not sure how long they hold it.- 6025 replies
