Lots of great fan service and nice "Muppet" versions of some Haunted Mansion staples.....which was the best part of the show....I didn't mind the musical parts.... I think Disney still doesn't know how to translate it's ride to film....thus why they went with a "safe" Muppets version.....I am worried that they will get the rebooted Haunted Mansion movie wrong...again...and focus more on the "gags"......maybe they need Sam Raimi As Statler and Waldorf said at one point during the show....the Muppets Haunted Mansion was "somewhat entertaining"

No, I think it was a media promotional item.....The one I have came with several other items that were geared towards promoting the film...sort of like a "press kit".....it came with posters where release date info could be written into "blank spaces" and other items.... You can see pics at the start of this thread....

Now that you mention it....I wonder if KitzConcept's release plans have changed any? At one point they were talking about the possibility of releasing Destroids in scale with their 1/72 VF-1 line......with that said, the chances of a 1/72 Destroid Monster would be slim to none.....so I would rather have a "complete" in-scale line of toys (HMR) and would hope HG and BW can come up with some financial agreement when it comes to current "Japan-Only" toys from Bandai and others...then perhaps we can eventually get the few missing HMR mechs not released made available directly to any collector outside of Japan.... Make no mistake though, I will continue to buy my SDFM/DYRL merch straight from Japan if that "deal" never materializes...heck, even if it does, I may still just buy the Japanese versions if I prefer the packaging, etc...LOL

Illustrator's preference?.....on the left is Takani....on the right is Suzuki...and Tenjin went with a white kite on grey background...although maybe he was just trying to differentiate it as a "DYRL" type kite for the GBP? Off the top of my head I don't think it was actually drawn/animated in it's brief film appearance....

That's actually pretty cool...I may get one too! No HG license?

Unfortunately, it's not only up to Bandai........BW more or less "settled" the BW/HG grudge match by abandoning merch rights to anything "robotech" related outside of Japan.....sadly that means SDFM and for more dubious reasons...DYRL.... I think Bandai will finish up the HMR line (assuming you are referring to what had already been teased/displayed), but it will probably do it for "Japan Only"....unless some devine intervention makes BW/HG come up with some additional deal for "joint" releases outside of Japan......I am personally not holding my breath
