TBH....if they had not included the sheet...I would have even noticed until I got around to google translating the bits and pieces that google translate is good at doing

If Bandai can pull off all the crazy tampo on the SV-262...they can surely do the SV-303 justice....it'll be a very unique looking VF that's for sure...sort of has a M0 "Bird Human" vibe to it...with that big cyclop head

The Loyal Subjects' GPK Roy Bot figure.....licensed by Topps! Clearly NOT a GBP Armor from Macross/Robotech!

Hoping Bandai releases the DX SV-303 as a WWM release.....but I'll be there for PO Madness if required...

Macross "Great Anatomy Series" mook....... Great mook covering all of the Macross TV series, OVAs, and films released so far...from SDFM to Macross Delta Absolute Live!!!!!! Covers serveral of the key characters, the "Pillars of Macross"....and, of course, the VFs! A couple of interviews, as well, including one with Max's voice actor. Apparently, there are several errors made, in terms of background data and names, however, as far as a pictorial archive, it provides a very generous amount of content spanning the Macross animated series and films so far....all in one handy source!

You are right....that is odd how they stopped making it available for overseas shipping....when it became available I was considering a second copy and bundling it with the HJ Extra mook....
-
Did you just check....it actually was available as of at least a week ago....I would have bought it via AJ but at the time I ordered it it was not....

Looking at the page count...seems kind of thin for the amount of time we've all been waiting...was hoping for a more exhaustive look into his art process....like they did for the last Kawamori VF book....but I guess we should just be happy if it actually gets released! BTW...per the translation on the AJ PO page..... Haruhiko Mikimoto's first "Macross" art book The Super Dimension Fortress Macross" celebrates its 35th anniversary. Haruhiko Mikimoto's first "Macross" art book, which includes more than 200 illustrations from the "origin" to the "present", including valuable illustrations drawn at the time of broadcasting! We've been waiting so long that it is now the 40th anniversary! LOL

crossing fingers on no more delays!

AJ's PO link for the Mikimoto Macross Art Book is back up in case anyone missed the initial PO window...3+ years ago! https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/美樹本-晴彦/dp/4041065062/ref=sr_1_3?qid=1639578790&s=books&sr=1-3&text=美樹本+晴彦

Macross 40th Anniversary Thread. What are you expecting?
jvmacross replied to Gerli's topic in Movies and TV Series
Probably....after years since the initial PO was opened and then closed....it is now once again available for PO on AJ with a 2/10/2022 release date... https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/美樹本-晴彦/dp/4041065062/ref=sr_1_3?qid=1639578790&s=books&sr=1-3&text=美樹本+晴彦 -
Macross Plus Movie Edition - US THEATERS
jvmacross replied to VF-1A Cannon Fodder's topic in Movies and TV Series
Ended up watching the movie when I saw that NO ONE had bought any seats at my nearest theatre.....by the time the "pre-show" started....a grand total of three of us were there for the big WWM event.....ouch Anyway...it's funny because I had actually decided to watch the "movie" edition for maybe the third time over the last weekend....and I actually found what turned out to be the "pre-show" as an extra on the Macross Plus BD that came out a few years ago....so if you have that BD you did not miss out much....the Kawamori intro was nice, but nothing interesting..or at least nothing I had not known about regarding the making of Macross Plus...would have been nice to have cracked open the vaults and showed off some never-before-seen lineart or maybe some original cels, gengas or dougas.....maybe next time or on some new "WWM" M+ boxset release -

Yeah...that's the issue.....When I went in June, I was able to get onto the "virtual queue" for ROTR each of the 3 days I visited HS....granted, just like now under Genie +, you had to book the rides at 7am on the dot.....it's like Disney PO Madness! Also, a big tip is to just get in the stand-by line to ROTR, Slinky Dog, Dwarf Minecarts...or whatever ride you were not able to secure a "lightning" pass for that day at the end of the night...you can literally get in line with 1 minute left to park close and you will get to ride it......it's a great last resort, especially if you have no plans on returning to the specific park you were not able to secure a lightning pass for....the only issue would be if the ride breaks down, which I hear happens quite a bit for ROTR

Yeah, that's what I have been reading....looks like you can get on most of the "older" rides in 30 min or less.....but when you used the Genie +...did you use it for a paid or unpaid "lightning" entry? Also, I've been reading that, like ROTR, most of the "paid" lightning passes for the newer rides have been sold out before the park even opens....but as you have indicated.....it seems you can simply get on the stand-by line and wait the 60+ minutes as has always been the case even during the "old" Fastpass days.........not exactly sure why so many are complaining about Genie+....I'm guessing maybe becuase the thought of "paying" to get on a ride is problematic to some.....personally, as someone who only can go to WDW 1-2 times a year at most....I appreciate the ability to "guarantee" that my group can ride the newest stuff while I am there...even if it may cost a few extra bucks do accomplish that and TBH, it will always just be the 2-3 newest rides everytime you visit for a few years until they get replaced by newer rides....like the upcoming Tron ride!

Did you wing it....or did you get a chance to use their new "pay to play" system? Costco had a great deal for the Dolphin....plus they get to partake in the evening extended hours so went for it

Maybe this is just a hidden "easter egg" simulating the scene where Kakizaki gets blown to smithereens.... But anyway, I hope you get yours fixed....mine is still sealed in their shipping boxes.....I am in no rush to find out it's current shape after all this time....maybe next year
