You are over-thinking things....it doesn't need to be significant or important...it just has to lead toward Palpatine's return...by default, it already does...every D+ Star Wars show has, Lucasfilm can't help it or just has no idea how not to....

Maybe the 'gag' required a 'Commander-type' Zentran for this scene.....- 2482 replies

I feel there is some potential for this...for example, Zentran designed to pilot the Glaug would be bigger...not necessarily bigger mecha within the same type of mecha....I believe the Protoculture specifically designed the Zentran as per the roles needed for then to fill...thus the wide range of sizes among their soldiers and commander types...again, this works for my head canon....- 2482 replies

Yep....like I said, when earth finally made it inside the crashed ship, they would have seen that everything was built for a certain sized being to walk within it...such as the huge doors seen by Hikaru and Minmay when they got stuck within the SDF-1....it would have made no sense to then design the VF-1's battroid configuration to be at a disadvantage to whatever the 'avaerage' size that was estimated by the 'top men' involved with the development of the VF....at least that's my head canon...LOL- 2482 replies

Exactly....nothing shown in the TV shows, OVAs, and films can be taken as fact.... "In-Universe" it would make no sense for Humanity to develop fighting machines that, based on the data gathered within the crashed ASS-1, would have put us at such an extreme size disadvantage to a potential alien adversary...- 2482 replies

I always return to this lineart drawing for my preferred scale among all of the SDFM mecha... ...with that said KC's VF-1 scales well with the KC Battlepod...not surprising...I really hope KC comes through with everything they have teased and promised...although Bandai can beat them easily in recreating this iconic illustration by simply releasing their HMR Tomahawk...easier said than done I suppose....- 2482 replies

Not really.... Not sure if you own any other VF-1's from other brands...but here is how they look besides KC's Regult... KC's VF-1... Threezero VF-1... Bandai HMR VF-1... Here it is next to Bandai HMR Regult...- 2482 replies

The point was that they seem to just send a couple of x-wings regardless of the urgency/threat (based on what has been seen on Mandalorian).....recall what happened in The Mandalorian when the pirates had no issues with attacking Creed's (sorry, forgot his Star Wars name) planet...obviously they knew they could get away with it without impunity as the overall thought is that the New Republic is a joke (the pirates in the first episode of Skeleton Crew even laugh when the captain of the captured ship brings up the New Republic)....TBH, what is the point of the New Republic anyways, if it cannot provide security for it's member planets....the fact is that without the Jedi to act as a 'police force' for the galaxy, the New Republic was doomed from the start...they overcompensated due to their fear of becoming another 'Empire' by apparently not wanting to create a military force large enough that would actually provide the security that kept the peace, now that the Jedi were essentially gone...they clearly misjudged the power vaccum that was created or 'let loose' once the iron fist of the Empire was gone....or at best, underestimated the importance of the Jedi in making a Galaxy-wide government work...in short, these shows are just setting up the need for the return of the Jedi....the Star Wars Universe apparently cannot exist free of conflict without the Jedi...and ironically, also cannot be free of conflict with them....thus Star Wars is doomed to repeat everything we have already seen, only with different Light Side/Dark Side characters....it should have just ended with ROTJ and all Star Wars stories should have just taken place in the past...at least this way we could have just know that it would all work out in the end....

This show continues to prove how inept the New Republic was after the events of ROTJ.... Even worse....it also double downs proving, from a certain point of view, that the First Order was actually a return to galactic order from the chaos and lawlessness brought upon by the terrorists and their supporters in the New Republic after the fall of the Empire.... It would seem the Criminal factions that existed during the Empire’s reign did so under the Emperor's approval....with the New Republic...it seems it is a free for all...no security, no standing army....if trouble comes up...a couple of x-wings are dispatched....lol

Watched the first 2 episodes and feel it's another Disney Star Wars series that I'll never have the need to watch again....after my subscription ends I'll probably not be in the same situation going forward....

The only "DX" toys of the M&M VF-1Js released by Japanese companies without bundled Fast Packs were from Takatoku and the re-releases from Bandai.... A release of these without bundling them with their color-matched Fast Packs would be a very Robotech thing to do....

ThreeZero's VF-1 has grown on me....will pick them up as they are released but seems they are not selling out so no rush for me...

Hopefully this is not Yamato all over again....I wish KC would have done a 2-pack release instead...Tomahawk\Spartan and Defender\Phalanx....it'll be funny if KC comes out with the Tomahawk before Bandai does!- 2482 replies

I assume the amount needed was to be able to cover production costs for everything listed? I see that the Defender was unlocked, but the kickstarter was closed by the time I could potentially add it. Hopefully it gets made and I can pick one up at some point... I really hope this all works out....the Max figure should be the next one released, per KC...- 2482 replies
