  1. Is there a reason why the Hik is $10 more than the Roy? Anymore confirmed accessories? http://www.nippon-yasan.com/lang-en/201-macross
  2. Mine was like 8 or 9 bucks.
  3. Yeah so I guess even if I pay my NY invoice now, with the current shipping charge, I guess they reserve the right to send an additional email "sorry bro we f'ed up, it'll take an extra 1000 yen from you to ship your valk". Kinda shady but at least it's justified.
  4. sucks, they are missing the obligatory shot where its lays out the entire box contents. I'm hoping for that too.
  5. Well there's one on AE about the same price right now: http://www.anime-export.com/product/15792
  6. Does NY change/revise shipping costs when they get it in stock and are ready to ship to you? Because my preorders have always included shipping. But they might have assumed it was the smaller size.
  7. I'm sure new collectors coming into the fray (like me) would pay this price rather than the marked up Yamato versions. It's better to have one than not have one at all. I'll just have to resign to the fact that, as long as I don't want to just by leftover Yamato Hayao's or CF's, I have to pay the new price tier.
  8. After having a chance to play around with the variety pack, II would say get the 2.5" + 4" sets. (The 6" is too tall, kinda scary with the long piece and a lot of weight bearing down on it if it's too far at an angle). That way with the 2.5" + 4" you get a stable leveled pose on each height plus you can get a taking off pose by combining one 4" and two 2.5" rods. 6" would be nice for gerwalk I guess but I prefer to either stand on the ground or be on the provided Bandai stand for that.
  9. Yeah you're right they didn't provide anything new with the renewal RVF compared to v1. They probably consider the standard radome as the extra. I wished they included a Nanase figure for the back seat =)
  10. Really can't believe it's still available: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10227289
  11. http://www.tamashii.jp/item_brand/dx_chogokin/ That is a nice list on the Tamashii site. Is there one that shows the tamashii exclusives also? For example it's missing the VF-25F v1 super parts, VF-27 Grace.
  12. Can't believe after 6 hours they are still available.
  13. I'm slowly transforming it, is there a way to cleanly swivel the arms from fighter down into gerwalk without the shoulder tampo scraping all the time? The clearance is basically a hair's width. I love the double seat, even though don't have a Ranka I'll be displaying it that way anyway and throwing the extra piece in the box. Not only was the nose cone joint tight, but the hip ball joints were super tight, like my 171. And just like the v1 it feels like I scratched all of the nose paint while trying to swivel it under the head. Luckily I put some painters tape over it before the transformation.
  14. Out on vacation for a week, so had all my mail on vacation hold. Had a lot waiting for me including finally a VF-25F renewal!
  15. Thanks so it's been confirmed, November release.
  16. NY says November also. so 3 to 1 chance it is a November release.
  17. Nice pic, so it looks like the VF-1J comes with the simple stand and the VF-1S comes with the nicer stand.
  18. That is not a bad problem to have actually. . .
  19. Yes, I like them. But one of my top plates already has stress cracking from me tightening too hard. It says 2lb max but it's probably less than that because I had to tighten them a bit or else the arms would just collapse down depending on the angle.
  20. So it does not look like it comes with a stand (not complaining here - price is too high already) But will it fit on the new Arcadia stands coming with the VF-1's?
  21. for me, preordered the 25F from HLJ 6/23 paid and requested to ship 7/19 got shipping notice 7/25 *edit* nvrmnd, oops forgot you were referring to the August restock orders.
  22. Everything gets smoother and curvier through the design evolution, cars a prime example of that, to a certain extent. and then everyone gets tired of it and the "retro" styling comes back. Again, cars are another example of that (Mustang, Camaro, Charger, etc)
  23. Oh wow I didn't know they were releasing Hikaru VF-1S too. But for me Roy > Hikaru. . . and plus I already have the red/white colorway on the VF-25F. Got have some variety.
  24. this is really nice, but I will wait until they go on sale. .. just kidding. This is instant buy on sight. Hopefully this isn't a major scalper target.
