I'm not sure how I did it, but after transforming back into fighter looks like I gashed up the paint pretty good on the die cast shoulders. Can anyone suggest an tamiya acrylic beige paint color # that would do a decent job of covering it up?

ok oh well I gave in and caved in on the new NY price at $220 shipped. I figure it's as good as a HLJ black friday sale. Now I need to find a new owner for the original Arcadia VF-1S.

Is there a shapeways design for the passenger on a VF-25 (like Ranka on the Ozma)?

Mine has had the shapeways triangles since day one. Removed the originals as soon as I opened the box.

The awesome gerwalk pics inspired me to finally install the super pack. It looks pretty menacing... I think I will leave it this way for a while.

I wonder how different this poll would look if it was only open to people who owned both. This coming from a person who only owns the Bandai, so I have no basis for comparison other than pictures... I think those votes are the only reason why it's so close otherwise Arcadia by a large margin.

I've heard some were already pre-cracked out of the box, luckily mine were good from a MISB state. . . but I quickly removed them and replaced them with the shapeways copy out of fear. Took the originals off and tucked them back in the box for good measure.

Can anyone explain why the VF-19A more closely resembles a YF-19 than the VF-19's as shown in M7?

I paid $158 at NY total for SAL registered. Thought it was a great deal since they accept USD$ and I don't have to pay that paypal yen conversion fee.

My NY preorder price was almost the same as the HLJ black friday sale price, haha. Well considering I already paid for my NY preorder, I passed on HLJ.

I ended up going with HLJ. There was only 1% of difference between amiami and HLJ, plus HLJ shipping is cheaper. Not willing to go the prepay route with AE or BIJ despite them being cheaper. Just too much money to be left on the table for 6 months.

Agree This is the same reason why you see 18000yen retail for MP Soundwave w/one tape in Japan and $120 retail for MP Soundwave w/four tapes in USA. Same with MP Optimus Prime, 25000yen in Japan and the same toy in US for $99.

I figure after the Arcadia Roy releases in November, I don't have anymore valk purchases until this hits in April. Gives me 6 months to save a bit.

I can see not wanting to preorder from Anime Export since you have to pu 100% down, but why do most want to preorder from HLJ? Do they have cheaper shipping than the rest?

Even if the VF-19 was marked down to $100 I wouldn't get it, my sights (and money) are all locked on the YF-19 much like everyone else.

I got my Toynami Rand MISB for $165 shipped back in January, that was the best price I could find at the time in sealed condition.
