I'm going to hold it in my private warehouse, gambling that the VF-25F will also show up for retail again at HLJ later next month. Or should I??? Is it much cheaper shipping 2 valks separately vs. 2 valks in one shipment?

From the pics there is nothing special with this valk - no sniper rifle or grappling hooks, no extra pilot, no radar dish, no Ex-Gear Alto. If MSRP is in the 12000y range I might bite. But not for 14000y like the other VF-25's.

How do you give a preorder to someone else? Just arrange a specific time with someone and the release it, then it automatically comes up for the other person to add to cart? I know people do this for BBTS but not for HLJ. Just got my payment request from HLJ from the "June restock".

Well hopefully they fix gerwalk mode. It's the only mode where the VF-19 stinks (nose heavy, needs more stable platform for balance - ratcheting ankles??) An extra seat and figure for Yang?? That would be nice. Considering the VF-19 was 22000y retail I'm betting this will for 26000y.

Oh man, time to panic sell my VF-19. . .. So prepare myself for another 2am F5'ing session??? Hope it's under 24000 yen.

Is Brera considered a "hero"?

I was talking about these tabs here. Looks like the gunpod handle can fit in there w/o attachment if you can truly remove the fin from the arm.

Nevermind, according to this picture, looks like you can attach the gunpod without the attachments.

For those that have it, can you install the gunpod in between the arms in fightermode just like the other renewal VF-25's (while tailfin is off)? Or do you always have to use the attachments? Sorry just itching to know. I'd prefer to keep the attachments in the box so I don't lose them like I do with the extra hands.

Oh has this been the case? Reissue QTYs in less numbers than the initial offering? I'm assuming the VF-27 v1.5 is the "initial offering" so we should be good in stock QTYs for that release as well.

Yeah, take that NY =) If it goes through (hopefully by the 28th), I'm going to cancel my NY VF-25F preorder and try the waiting game with that one as well . . . my lock in was way marked up at $200 anyway. Hopefully this is a trend. Would like to get an Ozma somewhere down the line as well, without having to stay up all night F5'ing.

I grabbed one from hlj, but lately for some backorders they haven't been pulling through for me. We'll see about this one. Great price too.

Only 28 available at Amazon Japan. So, chances of amiami re-upping their stock is low, huh? I guess I will just move onto the 25F then.

Like a CNC machine for the house? Aren't those like multiples of tens of thousand dollars? Will take a while to get it affordable. Plus all of the cutting fluid, maintenance necessary for the machine, etc. makes for a real big pain in the butt.

That is a fair question, similar question would be why do people collect coins, stamps, baseball cards, etc. when all they do is sit there. To each his own. Basically if I bought for retail I always wear them. If I bought for aftermarket prices, I usually hold onto it unused. And I have several that I bought aftermarket specifically to wear, but for those I buy used, it's much cheaper (almost by $100). That being said, shoes are meant to be worn, and toys are meant to be opened and played with/transformed. There are much better things to invest your money in than boxes.

Truth. . . But I recently unloaded a bunch of my Air Jordan collection, because Nike keeps on reissuing them. . . keeps on decreasing the values of the older releases so I got fed up and got out of the game.

Shipping for HKC is running at around $24. However the yen is getting stronger so HLJ might be more expensive anyway even with the combined shipping. HKC prices aren't based on the yen.

Is it still possible for the gunpod to sandwich in between the arms in fighter?

Well if the VF-1A TV has the new crotch I might as well pull the trigger on HKC. Great price.
-
It's a v2.0 though. I was looking for a v2.1 or 2.2 with the better 1/48 style crotch lock. The VF-1A CF is still $140 shipped on HK, just waiting for the price to drop.
-
I'm looking for any v2.2 VF-1 valk at 12000y shipped or below. . I look on these sites everyday and have found some for 14000y shipped, just patiently waiting for a sale or coupon and I'll buy on first sight. VF-1S is nice but tends to be priced more than the other types!

Guess I've been lucky, last two orders from amiami and hobbysearch took exactly 14 days from shipping notice to post office delivery note. Both SAL registered.

At $160+ we are paying for a product, yes SAL is a gut wrenching torture of a two weeks for delivery. Tracking doesn't even update until after it's been delivered, which adds to the agony. I check tracking updates obsessively and there's nothing more than I hate than to never see updates either on the japanpost site or usps site.

Nice collection. . do you recommed the VF-22? Or just get it for completeness sakes? Thinking about it.
