  1. Damn, he was young too. Only 60. So sad.
  2. Nice to see a review from someone who is a little more knowledgeable about the original series and what the fans like. Sounds like something I would actually be interested in from a Star Trek movie.
  3. Beat me to it. Zelda looks awesome there.
  4. I'm not sold on the look of the fabric on that classic Cap but the Armored Batman figure looks pretty sweet.
  5. Apparently in the recent A-Force comics Dazzler is dressed exactly like this. So it's a "modern" costume in a way as well. But Hasbro has a tendency to choose really weird costumes so nobody can actually complete a team of heroes in matching outfits. The Colossus actually looks proportioned correct for that costume, it's just that the costume they chose was from an odd sliver of time that nobody cares about. I have wanted Warlock for forever, but all I have is the Marvel now Illyana, but she doesn't fit in with Warlock. To be honest Warlock would have made more sense in some sort of Entertainment Earth (or whoever) exclusive box set with a bunch of New Mutants in the Black and Yellow costumes.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I hope they're available the next morning. I don't do all nighters for anything but women these days.
  7. So these things are proper model kits you have to paint?
  8. Unfortunately this weekend was been too busy to to go see this. I'll have to schedule something with my Dad for next weekend.
  9. Wow, that will be mandatory seeing in the theater just to take in all of that scenery. Maybe because I have the SDCC 2015 Box set but this series holds very little interest for me. It's just lazy, really. They didn't even bother to repaint the Doctor Strange Figure or Brother Voodoo. They didn't repaint Dormammu either but I will credit them with making far more interesting colored flaming skulls than in the Box Set.

    Hi-Metal R

    Damn, that's Huge.
  11. They're really going to have the guy with the Tiger???
  12. I did not realize you collected the littler one's too. I like the large range of sculpts but I dislike the articulation.
  13. Thanks. The main hull definitely does not stick out as much. It looks roughly where it all was on the original refit/A Enyerprise. Nacelles are still thick but smaller and more uniform, pylons to the nacelles have been redesigned and is sort of a combination of straight and swooped back. The pylons are also a lot further apart, more like the original series was. And the nech is thicker and meets with the wngineering hull in a manner more reminiscent of the Ent-D. It's still not as good looking as the original series Ent-A but it's a much better design than the original JJ-prise was.
  14. That's the comic book version of both of those characters. It does not necessarily apply here.
  15. Well, apparently NECA got The Shredder right in their upcoming TMNT Arcade Game box set but since it isn't available outside of the Con I don't count that. The Movie version Hot Toys looks pretty spot on too, though that's the movie version.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I've never used them, I think they're awful looking.
  17. Looks like I'm going to have to go all in on the TMNT stuff. That's the first Shredder anybody has ever got correct.
  18. Holy HELL, that Spider-Man!!!!
  19. Well, it's fascinating. I think the head is too undersized, and you're aware since you mentioned it. This is a good example of all the bizarre choices/compromises both Arcadia and Bandai have had to make to get these things functioning in the real world. Fighter and Gerwalk look amazing.
