  1. Why does it have to be heavy?
  2. Is that the whole review?
  3. If regular msrp is $345 I'm going to assume premium will be $450.
  4. Seriously, kyekyes isn't fair to compare at all. It took him months. His application of aztecing alone was beyond meticulous and he went the extra step of drilling holes into the thing and using metal wire to create additional antennae across parts of the ship, etc. The entire antenna array on the head was cut off and replaced with a metal mesh he created himself. And the rings in the chest are metal, he replaced the plastic with some bits of button or something like that which is why they have a sort of brass color. Plus the thrusters on the feet too. NOBODY could mass produce what kyekye did.
  5. Deadpool is pretty cool though I hate how poorly articulated the ankles are. Miles is okay but I don't think it's worth worrying about skipping that one.
  6. It was a DIY kit too. You had to build/paint that 2K sucker yourself.
  7. To be honest there are a lot of mainstream comics these days (primarily Marvel) with artwork this bad. Often times even worse than this.
  8. Dude, ONE SINGLE TAMPO on a recent release on an area that can have plastic-on-plastic scraping does not imply that EVERY piece Arcadia releases is in danger of rubbing off just because you touched it. Quit blowing jenius' review out of proportion.
  9. This is from the past week. Three SDCC exclusives. Movie Realization Storm Trooper Prototype Boba Fett, Mezco One:12 Deadpool in his X-Men Uniform and Miles Morales Spider-Man. Plus Figuarts R2 and Threepio. And lastly the Super Parts for Ozma's 25.
  10. The think it was $2000 or something.
  11. I've cancelled two things before, and had a payment slip once, and they've been fine with me. Maybe because I've bought a lot of stuff with them the past four years.
  12. Hmm, I'm no fan of the DYRL version of the SDF-1 but if the Premium Version actually looks like that I'd probably go for it.
  13. This was my exact thinking.
  14. After the hand-wavium you've proven my point exactly, there's TOO MUCH effort put into something he apparently doesn't want to show us. That's a gigantic mixed-message. If he loves aircraft and puts detail into aircraft and makes shows featuring this don't make a show with said highly detailed aircraft and then tell us to watch the poorly-conceived love-triangle off in the corner when we all ask why we can't see the detailed aircraft.
  15. I skipped those three because I didn't like the way they looked but Spider-Gwen looks great and they hid the joints better.
  16. Yeah, all if the fancy additional crap and they didn't think to include just a normal, hanging cape. Cap looks dope to me, not at all liefield beefy IMO. I do love that little addition that makes it look like he's blocking a hail of bullets. Hasbro never comes up with additional gimmicks like that. Just the dumb shield throwing thing that isn't even curved the correct direction for how physics works.
  17. Okay, we need a proper topic for these things. For thr most part all Marvel properties have been split between the various Marvel projects, etc... and I don't feel like splitting up announcements between Spider-Man, Avengers and X-Men stuff anymore. Here's pics of Magneto and Captain America. I'm in. They both have a very Marvel vs Capcom feel and will go on the video game shelf.
  18. The problem with this is he puts so much effort into designing the mecha with real world characteristics, even building models from Lego's that will actually transform, that none of us are inclined to believe him. Or at the very least that focus is giving all of us mecha/battle fans some spectacular mixed-messages. There's an awful lot of focus on designing war machines he doesn't want to actually have perform for us.
  19. Still just renders? That sucks.
  20. But that's perfect, buy the non-premium versions then.
