sorry valknut, i bought the last 2 lowviz's they had... 1/48 yammies (valks and strike/super parts) get my vote.
  2. i'm glad you enjoyed the price i gave you for the yammie... i sold the gobot for $45 so i guess it evens out
  3. it's so easy to quit... in fact, i've quitted 5 times already...
  4. oi barph! thanks a lot!! keep 'em coming!!!
  5. well i guess i Have to do it... WHAT'S WITH SPELLING YOUR NAME WITH LIKE THAT ???!!!! welcome to MW (i'm a newbie myself; long time lurker, though)
  6. There's a booklet? it's quite easy to miss but it's under the cardboard thing that houses the clear plastic mold that holds the toy... (it's in a plastic bag with the decals/stickers)
  7. i never knew that "fokker" was pronounced with a long o ("foh-ker) by anybody. if it was spelled "foker", a long o sound would be applicable, i guess. i've always thought "focker " was an error-- i've always thought that it was roy fokker (pronounced as "fock-er"). i should pay more attention
  8. That was one of the best but least watched cartoons. I don't remember if they ever made it out of the D&D world. there was an episode where they managed to get back, but had to go back into the d&d world to save the dungeonmaster or something. i remember feeling sad for the guys...
  9. Was that the show with the evil bad dude whp piloted a squid?? I voted for thundercats man I LOVED that show. it was a SPACE squid...
  10. Yeah, but they had this guy flying the jet with a guitar??? Hahaha, can you imagine how lame that is?... I mean c'mon a guitar to pilot the plane... hehe... he... heee.... uh-oh... he (bluegrass) didn't pilot the the plane (maraj) with his guitar; he actually shot people with it! with musical notes! really! as far as i know they were done by the same company and animation studio as the thundercats and tigersharks... man, i need to get a life....
  11. hi Barpharanges, i think it is the 2 fighters near the end (they look like tie-interceptors). last time i saw the film was in 1994, i think (i had a jap channel on cable). any scans of the "breaker" and "balsam" would be much appreciated. and can you tell me the title of the art books that they are in? i can probably look out for it on eBay... and do you know if any model or toys of these things were ever made? thanks...
  12. sorry to go off on a tangent, but does anyone know what the little tie-fighter looking thing on etrnal story was called? a liked the design, as well as the balsam fighter. anyone know of any available lineart / pics that can be downloaded? or if they ever made a toy or model kit of these fighters?
  13. as far as i know, it wasn't totally unrelated to robotech (as opposed to macross). i remember that they were tied in with the series i watched in the 80's (in the philippines). i think they spliced some footage of orguss into the macross saga to basically lengthen the series or something... the orguss was treated as the enemy related to the zentraedi somehow. my memory's a bit fuzzy, but there were definitely orguss toys labelled as macross toys. not sure whether they were licensed, semi-official or totally bootlegged items (i remember bootleg vf 1's which were like 90% die-cast were popular at the time as they sold for 1/5 the price of original takatoku's)...
  14. Dude, you gotta encode that on a file format. i second that motion! i'd like to see these valks in action!
  15. i found this on an old b-club; anyone know more about this?
  16. i'd prefer that they were all the same scale (1/48-- only because i think this has the best detail, proportion and build quality of all yamato lines)
  17. hi guys, sorry to sound stupid, but can a cel shaded version of the finished image be knocked up easily with the info used for the original version, or does it not work that way?
  18. it doesn't even seem like paint. it's more like the sticky bit after you remove a price tag....
  19. Mildred, yellowlightman, It's a mark of how focused and tunnel-vision'ed on the milestone of getting thing done we've gotten while working on it that we honestly hadn't thought at all yet beyond getting copies for our greedy ol' selves. We never really even considered that there might be interest from the rest of MW and/or the fanbase. If you guys are serious, I'm sure we'd be more than happy to discuss it and see what we come up with.... hi doc, thanks for considering yellow and me. just remember, we're first on the list!
  20. hi guys, will the poster be available to non-contributors? sorry if i seem cheeky, but talentless dorks like me have no choice
