I got screwed by BBTS on the VF-25S. If they came out and stated they couldn't fulfill preorders the week they shipped what they got, I would have had time to get it somewhere else. Never trust them about Macross toys again, ever.

Got a reply from BBTS that they already shipped their initial Ozma orders and waiting for a restock... WTF, I preordered mine in November. I have ozma superpack coming but no ozma...maybe I'll put it on my VF-25F. Anyone have a VF-25S for $225 shipped?

Just got some $$$ but the 50% FedEx is no more... Can't convince my self to get some cheap valks without it knowing it would have been cheaper...guess I'll wait for the next sale. At least my wife is happy.

Had a choice between the VF-22S and VF-19 (hi-metal) that's on sale in amiami and chose the VF-19 because my Gamlin had issues locking completely at the bottom in fighter mode. One side would lock but the other side would have get loose. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong? I have examples (1/60,1/48,VF-1,VF-0,...) of all the yamato valkyrie toys and this is the only one that had locking issues.

I just got EMS shipping notices from two separate Japanese sites for recent Macross purchases (Hobbysearch, Mandarake). So I guess this really only affects those with direct contacts in Japan...

Doh, I just ordered mine last week...they didn't have the Fedex special then. Anyhow, it came yesterday and while I haven't transformed her yet, one of the wings is floppy. Guess I won't be doing barrel rolls. Also, putting on the missles was super hard and when they clicked, there were stress marks on the holes.

When choosing I picked the DN because I liked the color scheme over the original. I don't care much for Anime lineage, it's more about looking good in my display. That's also why I picked the VF-11C over the VF-11B.

I was looking at buying the stands recently and from what I can tell, they reissued the black and released the deep blue a few months ago. Deep Blue is really the only color readily available at retail prices... Didn't know there was a green one...guess that means I might not know what I am talking about.

I guess I am a glutten for punishment...I just ordered a VF-1S Hikaru Strike / Super. What's the likelyhood it has fixed hinges? By the way, is 7000 Yen before shipping a good deal?

Just got my 1/60 vf-1J super...checked for cracks and stress marks...none. Transformed it to battroid and tried to get back to plane when I saw a small crack Tried to fix it with super glue... found a stress mark on the other hinge I have plenty of experience with 1/48's and the 1/60 (V1) so I thought I could figure out the transformation without instructions...so this could be partly my fault...but there is definitely an apparent defect here This is my first vf-1 v2 1/60, but with this thread I was prepared for the inevitable. Hopefully, Graham still has a few bright white hinges

So you have a long way before you are addicted Thought I beat the Macross habit when I stopped buying Yamato(s) a year ago.

Just got my VF-27 yesterday and already the paint in the nosecone chipped... was done during transformation as the nosecone / chest area is pretty tight. Then I remember reading about applying a clearcoat on it first (doh!) I don't do well with paint / markers so I just removed all the remaining (pink) paint off the nosecone...now I have a variant. Other than this issue (which is now fixed), the toy is great... -

I got the super alto first this Xmas, didn't know it was tinted blue until I opened it (wasn't so knowledgeable about the DX toys at the time.) Boy was I a little disappointed. Luckily I was able to get a version 2 at a good price a few weeks later... Then came the VF-25G, the VF-25F (clear), the VF-25S (armored).... No more DX toys for me though...
