Just got mine...slow SAL shipping. Couldn't find any instructions video so I just transformed it slowly (maybe I should have used the instructions). Anyhow, hardest / scariest part was the front landing gear tabs, they wouldn't pop out without wiggling and force. Turns out you don't need to open them in order to transform unlike the other DX planes. Really love the waist movement, lets it do poses the other models can't.

I got one from AE after missing out on 1999, NY...never saw the add button for amiami. Ended staying to 3:43 and was about to quit when AE updated. Could never of stayed up until 5:11 for HLJ although I had the item page refreshed. Going to take my VF-25S out of storage and mess with it now If it pops up in November like the VF-25F, I'll get another one as that's my favorite model... Any chance of a VF-25S in different colors?

Here's hoping with this blue, they think to reissue the Virgin Road VF-1D to go with it...the only 1/60 VF-1 that I want. -

Got if from cdjapan...wasn't planning to get it because I didn't like the blue crotch but someone suggested to use the white one in the Alto. I have 3 Altos in my collection so I figure one gets the blue underwear.

Just got a Hot Toys Iron Man VII (MISB)... Paid inflated price but need my iron fix after the XLII got delayed.

Just checked mine after having it in display for over a year. Didn't see any cracks on the black pieces under the arm pits but stupid me wanted to check closer and than cracks started developing as I moved them a bit... did an experiment and the other side cracked just the same. Put tape over it so it doesn't break more. I never transformed it back to fighter after hearing about all the crack issues but I guess now I can. My VF-171 Alto is fine so definitely this is an issue with the CF as I handle my toys with extra care.

Finally got my order at NY... Missed out at checkout at ami, 1999, CDjapan. Lucky, I had to go to sleep at midnight so only going to wait a few minutes more.

Still waiting to transform mine...had it this Tuesday. What do you guys suggest to protect the pink paint on the nosecone? Pledge with Future Shine? My V1 version ended up with paint coming off on the first transformation so I am very wary for this one. Thanks.

Caved in and got the "only one" bundle from AE for VF-25F+Armor. Figure it's worth it for some good sleep and spend time with my kids instead of refreshing all evening long...at least until they announce the VF-25S reissue. Might sell the Armor parts since I already have a set...but then 2 fully armored VF-25Fs might look cool.

How much did you get it for? If it's not the 21000 yen markup, I might be interested. In the Bay Area too...so shipping or local pickup would be easy.

Just opened mine... Checked the instructions and didn't see it but does anyone know if the plastic piece that connects the dish accessory is removeable from the valk? I have a V1 and know that can be easily removed but this one wouldn't budge. Sometimes I like to display it without the dish attached. Thanks.

Hi, Just brought out my remaining V1 VF-25S from storage (had it for 2 years or so) and going to transform it. It was from my armored Ozma set. I don't believe I ever transformed it since I had a regular version (sold that off a few months ago)...that I displayed with. Anyhow, was opening the front landing gear flap when one of them came off. One of the hinges had cracked almost entirely. Checked the other flap and it was cracked too, but not as bad. The plastic must have gotten harder and cracked because the "socket" on the plane is pretty exact and stresses the hinges. Here's a pic to show what I mean: (I tried to fix it with super glue but doubt it will hold) Does anyone know if there's a shapeway's replacement? If not, any of the shapeways guys / gals want to mold one? Afraid this might be a prevalent problem over time since I don't think they fixed (changed) that mechanism on the frontier valks. Thanks.

One of the antenna on my YF-29 (VF-1S Scheme) is bent (out of the box). I immersed it in hot hot water for a few seconds and straighten it, but it returned back to its bent state after a day or so. Anyone have any other suggestions. Thought this type of issue would have been fixed by now like the VF-25S...
