Not sure which art is what. From the official Site (http://b.bngi-channel.jp/macross30/limited/index.html) it looks like the "Girls" cover is for the game itself, and the orange-background valks for the Limited BOX art. Maybe the one in CD JApan is an older (placeholder) art?

My first electric (which I still have, as it was a gift), is a korean custom labeled "Richman" looking something like this, cost around $400. My "expensive" guitar, based on Fukuyama's main axe, Fender American Deluxe Strat, from 2004 ($999), which really has all the sounds I like. I have an Epiphone Hummingbird (~$300) , and my very sweet classical guitar I got recently at "Paracho", Mexico (nice town). I have other guitars around I don't use (mainly for visitors and playing Rocksmith). I just got my Yamato VF19 kai this week (with Sound Boosters), and yeah I do expect Basara Guitar to be more expensive (although I admit I have no experience with ESP Guitars). Still, might be cheaper than having it custom made (I got a pre-quote for about $3,000 from an American luthier). Shipping costs... here is the challenge... though I live in a USA territory... we'll see hen the time comes (if it comes).

Yeah, it isn't a gig instrument, that's for sure. I don't know in how many songs Fukuyama san used it during the last concert, but from his last 4DVD Concert (The Party), he only used it twice, and I really don't like the sound of it. Having said that, I think it will all come down to pricing. I have my "real" guitars, but will definitely buy this if it's within budget, and use it as a display and to fool around @home (My friends know I'm a M7 freak >_>).

Thanks for the update! Sounds fair that it's months away, seeing as how all the attention is around VF's and Figures at the moment. I remember when I first saw the one is Fire Bomber 2005 concert @Osaka, so it's been a long wait for me Question, should we make some kind of poll or list of people who are interested in it? Don't know how useful those really are.

Thanks for that update. Yeah. 1st generation would be the one used in the Fire Bomber 2005 (Which I had the chance to be in, @Osaka). For Fukuyama-sans 20th Anniversary concert came the one being supported now. I really love the 1st gen design, but this one does seem more solid and reliable. So.. how do we approach Yamato?

I keep searching the web in the hopes of more news on this. I have a Sunburst Fender Deluxe Stratocaster 2004 signed by Yoshiki Fukuyama, but...man, I'd do almost anything for this replica. What would be the best place to keep an eye on for announcements around this guitar? Do we even have confirmation it will be sold?

Hi guys. I don't know if you are interested, but some of Fire Bomber songs were songs changed from the band Humming Bird (Yoshiki Fukuyama san's old band). Burning Taka-Q made some very good power tabs of some of the songs. Even though his site isn't online anymore, i added those files on my site in case fans wantes to download them. http://geocities.com/nek_b/en_site.html You will need the Power Tab editor, which will show you the tabs, the music scores and it can also play the files. Some of the score/tabs you can download are: Macross VFX-2 Get Free, Dynamite Explosion (Humming Bird Version), Starlight Dream and Fly Away (Try Again). Please enjoy and comment back your opinions on them.
