    Orbital Zentradi bombardments aren't a problem for me. My tinfoil hat deflects all forms of alien beam weapons.

    IMO Macross II works best as an alternate universe where the NUNS didn't follow Global's orders to colonize other worlds. After all its amusing to see how the UN spacey has taken the Zentradi fleet mentality and gone beam cannon crazy at the expense of basic space tactics. Also is it me or was the UN Spacey fleet actually capable of out-gunning the entire Marduk fleet in a straight up firefight? Cause it looks to me like the UN Spacey had no problem against the Marduk fleet until their main force of Macross Cannons and their flagship Gloria were outflanked and swarmed by hordes of battle pods and mecha.

    My two cents: 1. I think alot of us fans just really love Haruhiko Mikmoto's artwork over Risa Ebata's. Hence we tend to defend fanservice with the classic Mikimoto charaters in Macross and Gunbuster as "more tastiful" then Frontier's as just another sign of our favoritism IMHO. Not that their is anything wrong with that. 2. Though it would be very in charater. Showing Sheryl Nome strutting around topless in almost every other appearance like Jung would probably scare away alot of the mainstream female fans the new franchise was aiming to acquire.

    Didn't the Zendrati-Meltrandi conflict teach you anything? Its always the most sexually repressed and divided cultures that turn in the most violent ones. Granted modern society has not started segregating genders into separate species...yet. But unfortunately modern society does have an obsession with butchering the majority of genitals in the name of hygienic BS. Which naturally has created a lot of of violent sexually frustrated males and females...

    If your interested in playing ME3 multiplayer though then now is actually a good time to buy since the new price has already been lowered from $60-> $40. Otherwise you will probably have to wait until ME3 Muitlplaying starts to die off before they start lowering the price again. EDIT:

    Geth SMG is is my new favorite machine gun. As a mini reloadable Geth spitfire it has completely replaced my Revenant. With level 3 ammo and SMG upgrades I have used to mow down "gold" Atlases, Brutes, and Geth Primes on a single clip. Even without any upgrades though its perfect for "shell shocking" Phantom\Geth Hunters when they get too close to comfortably snipe. The Jusitar bubble can also be used offensively as a trap. Enemies that walk in the bubble take 10% more damage by default. Fully upgraded it will cast warp on them and become biotic detonate-able.

In the mean time I will help Tali with calibrations in her environ-su... I mean uh engineering bay workspace" Yeah the Revenant was too heavy to be practical. Still its fun to mow down enemies with. Especially since most foes turn helplessly paralyzed under the repeated machine gun fire. Haven't gotten the Batarian yet, but I did get the Geth inflitator. The geth are funt "glass cannons" to play as with a Nova-like melee attack and predator vision that leaves shield strength at 50%. I am hoping to unlock the Asari Justicar soon though because the bubble barrier ability is really handy for creating a safe zone during Objectives.

    Personally if I were Kawamori I would just do a series of "I am on the Megaroad" mockumentary videos produced within the next Macross franchise, but magically sold to real life otaku for a few hundred dollars a piece. ...and it would actually be worth every penny, because it would have the Minmay, Misa, Mecha, and fan fic porn those weirdo Macross fans want to masturabate to.. Like: - A Hikaru, Misa, Minmay threesome fully animated as a hentai - Misa/Minmay yuri love scene synced to VF-X-4 combat - and last, but not least Mimay sending her love child Basara off in a rocket like Kal-El. With the Robotech "superman rip-off" theme of all things playing as background music.

    Whoops turns out I forget to actually install the DLC in the first place... I'll have to try them out it with my crazy new infiltrator build: Revenant machine gun + Black widow. Recharge rate is slow, but it gives me enough flying lead to pulverize anything near or far.

    What new maps I have been playing around with random location games and the galaxy map, and all I get are the same old maps. I think its cause ME3 has: - faster recharge times if you pack light - customizable weapons - More abundant ammo - ducking and diving to cover is easier - Better squad AI that can duck for cover without micromanagement

    New DLC Patch is out for free with new weapons and goodies for multiplayer. Still no sign of a rumored DLC ending.

    I could be wrong, but I don't believe the fortress itself was ever a source of evil power for Mumra. In the orignial series Mummra seemed to channeled the power of the "ancient spirits of evil" though the 4 evil looking statues that surrounded his purple Lazurus pit. Probably has to do with the fact that it was almost sunrise when Lion-O and Mummra fought. Its well known that Mumra's can't withstand direct sunlight in his true form(s), so perhaps Mumra gets weaker in the daytime.

    I don't know if its true, but I heard that in the Alien novels Carter, the Weyland exec, hid enough eggs on the Solco to infect everyone except himself. Since this never happened in the movie version it created the huge discontinuity when they adapted Alien 3 to film.

    IMO Macross Frontier shed a lot of its old Macross look when they replaced Haruhiko Mikimoto with Risa Ebata. Her artwork is great, but naturally the Gravion Zwei influence doesn't exactly carry the nostalgia of Mikimoto's old Macross works. I believe your CDX podcast of Macross Zero/Frontier (can't remember which exactly) said it best that Kawamori is a "George Lucas of anime" that works best as a co-director.

    Excellent point. I just re-watched EA's ending to Command and Conquer 4 recently and I got to say its PRACTICALLY IDENTICAL to ME3's ending.

    It will most likely be Pumyra the Puma. ts a Deviant art and not official artwork, but still worth sharing IMO. Animation almost always declines mid-show. On the bright side the story writing is still good.
