You guys are crazy if you think they are not going to try to wallet-rape you on this. Why? Because they KNOW people will pay it, they may bitch and moan, but they will pay it. Think about the YF-21, $230.00 for that almost 2 yrs ago, granted, it was (and still is) a complex transformation, but the SDF-1 is iconic and going to be in a league all of it's own. Speaking of new houses, I'm in the process of looking, and have it narrowed down to 1 or 2 floorplans I like, however, is it wrong that the FIRST thing I'm thinking as I'm walking through the place is "hmmmm, which room is gonna be best suited to display ALL my TOYS!" Mospeada, Macross, Star Wars, etc, etc, etc.... :lol:

Got my Red and Green Masterpiece Alphas in the mail today. Green one--solid as a rock. Looks like I got a GOOD one. Red meh, looks like its pretty good, but not quite as "tidy" as the green.....Will post some pics when I get them panel lined and decaled hopefully over the weekend.

Just ordered mine from Amazon. OUCH! GOD i hate shipping charges. oh well, it will look good displayed by all my Mospeada Mecha.

I'll just throw in my 2 cents here and say I am in the Yamato "fan" column. As someone who is over 30 and never had hardly any Macross toys as a kid, finding Yamato (and Macrossworld) a few years back has really been the best thing in a long time for me. Well, for me yes, my poor wallet, no. I collect these things because I fell in love with the mecha as a kid. I just display them, but its so cool to know, that if I want to take them out and play like a kid, I can! I only bought one 1:48, but now have a LOT invested in the new 1:60 ver, 2's and I'm gonna stick with that scale. For the most part mine have been 99% totally problem free. However, that being said, we NEED enemy mecha, and and SDF-1 TV version SOON Yamato!

well, for better or worse, with things being the way things are, in a moment of weakness, I finally broke down this am and ordered the Masterpiece Red and Green alphas from RT.com. yes yes, I know....,but I will probably transform them 1 time just for grins (VERY carefully), and then sticker them and put them on display in fighter mode forever. Just couldn't not have the other 2 to go with my blue alpha and beta. Gonna pass on the green and red beta, and hold that cash in reserve for the ever-so-small chance we get more 1:10 Ride Armors someday..........

Pioneer LaserDisc Player, and Star Wars-The Definitive Collection Box Set. All CAV discs. 1 movie--6 sides..LOL! Lots of flipping and disc changing, but STILL the only way to watch the non "special edition" ORIGINAL version of the 3 films.
