  1. Basically just the color and there is no Double Beam Cannon in the TV series. Graham
  2. DO NOT PANIC! The sky is not falling down. I can say no more just yet, but there will be a win-win situation for everybody come November. Graham
  3. I don't think I've asked before Graham. Which (of the three) VF-1A Hikaru's is getting cracked paint? I sure hope it isn't all of them.......and were any of them the prototypes? So far mine don't have any blotches or cracks (knock on wood). Yep all three have it on the inner and outer ankle circles. I've noticed that the paint on the ankle circles of the Hikaru VF-1A seems to be more gloss than on the Max or Focker. The paint is not flaking off or peeling, it's just got some very fine hairline cracks allowing the white underneath to show through. It's weird, it's sorta like the paint has stretched and split or something. Here's a pic to show what I mean, and it's not a scratch, it's definitely a crack or split in the paint. Graham
  4. Yes, as far as I know it will basically be similar to the parts swapping method of the MSiA Zeta ver.2. Graham
  5. Don't you know that Yamato actually hires special in-house psychologists for the sole purpose of analysing the posts of certain Macrossworld members just so they can formulate a marketing strategey designed specifically to piss off said members. It's all part of the Global conspiricy and Yamato is actually in legue with Bill Gates and the Devil. Graham
  6. Hmm........is it just me, or does the pilot look like he's looking to the left. Graham
  7. You are talking about the 1/48 right? Any photos? Are you using something hard (like a screwdriver) to pry off the intake covers? That could be causing the cracking. Graham
  8. Cute, but why isn't Minmay in the rear seat? Graham
  9. Commander McBride, you have nearly 300 posts already!!!! You post junky you Graham
  10. IIRC, the helmet is ¥158,000. If anybody is seriously crazy enough to want to burn that sort of money on a helmet, then perhaps Monkey-N (formely Monkey Nugget on the old forum) can help with ordering it as he is living in Japan. I imagine for that sort of money, he would need payment up front though. Graham
  11. Wouldn't they be called Glove Vanes? Or atr you referring to something else that i'm not seeing? Not sure of the correct technical term, but yeah that sound's about right. B) Graham
  12. I've just noticed that on my 1/48 Hikaru VF-1A toys, the paint is cracking on the red ankle circles. Has anybody else noticed this? Graham
  13. My ass can also rip something, but it won't be Macross 7. Sorry, couldn't reist. Graham
  14. I've noticed that the FIX Z-Plus toys have little pull out winglets (fins) located on the leading edge of the main wings. These are not on the MG model kits. I'll have to check the Sentinel book when I get home tonight to see if they are shown in the lineart or not. Graham
  15. What are you talking about? The 1/60 VF-1D had the small slot on it's arm for the collapsable gunpod, not the larger 'L' shape slot. Graham
  16. 1/144 scale, same as all Gundam Fix Figuration (GFF) toys. Graham
  17. The Hikaru VF-1S is supposed to be numbered '001'. Graham
  18. Heh, can't remember if I got the title correct or not, but anyway the thread devoted exclusively to discussing Gundam Sentinel is back with a bang! And we start off with pictures from the new October 2003 issue of Hobby Japan of the upcoming GFF Z-Plus toys due for release in September. Note, on pic # 3, it clearly shows that the toys will come with the alternate groin pieces and back parts allowing the toy to be built as either an A1 or C1. Graham
  19. Well obviously there will be the improved nosecone and flaps, first introduced on the Max 1/48. I'm sure we'll also see the improved 90 degree capable elbow joint, and redesigned easier opening front landing gear doors introduced on the Low-Vis as well. I'm not sure what other improvements we will see, if any. I was hoping for painted panel lines and optional swapable hands, but it doesn't seem like we are getting those. Graham
  20. The 1/48 is much more stable than the 1/60, so I don't anticipate any problems. Don't be so pessimistic....lighten up and think happy thoughts Graham
  21. Nah, IMO it looks more like an Armored Core (AC) mech, which considering that Kawamori designs all the mecha for AC is hardly suprising. Graham
  22. Guys, the new October 2003 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine, just out today has some proper pics of the upcoming 1/48 VF-1S Hikaru, not just the photo-shopped pics we've seen so far. And yes, the heatshield is red This may just basically be a Hikaru VF-1A with a head swap, but IMO, it's still one damn-fine looking Valk. I'm just a sucker for the Hikaru VF-1S. Graham
  23. Guys, the new October 2003 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine, just out today has exclusive first look pictures of the new Destroid design from Macross Zero, that briefly appeared in ep# 2 and should make a bigger appearance in ep# 3. Looks like those who theorised about the Destroid having hands on the elbows ala the VB-6 guessed correctly. Graham

  25. not even gonna ask... If Abombz is really SOL, then who is Tess? I've never managed to get this clear in my mind. Hey, here's an idea, 3 names........perhaps it's a Macross style love triangle Graham
