Try Lost Planet. I am currently playing it and wow what an awesome game. I actually like it better than GoW. It has what GoW is missing...and thats awesome boss fights against enormous monsters and mecha. GoW could have been so much better in the boss fight area. I mean the Corpser fight is a joke. Then there is that monster with the huge cannon on its back at the end of Act 4 that could have been another great boss battle. But noooo it just comes out in a short scene and thats it. Yeah I mentioned the mecha. The mecha design on this game is really good. Its fun to get in one of them and blast away at whatever comes my way. Overall fun game. Other future releases you should consider checking out are: Crackdown, BulletWitch, Halo 3, and GRAW2. GRAW 2's demo is up and I downloaded it today. Havent had time to play it yet but the first one was great.

Ahhh Blaze Bailey. Actually I like "X-Factor" CD. I think it has some great songs. (Sign of the Cross, Man on the Edge, to name a few.) "Virtual XI" though is a horrible CD. I just cant listen to it. The problem with Blaze was he had some big shoes to fill and he just couldnt do it. My first Maiden show was in 1995 during the tour for X-Factor and while it was great seeing Maiden live, it just wasnt the same without Bruce. Blaze doing Bruce era songs sounded so bad. Blaze just didnt have the vocal range nor the energy to run around like a maniac on stage like Bruce does. Then again I saw Maiden for the Virtual XI tour and that was ok. But when I heard that Bruce and Adrian were back in Maiden I was happy beyond belief. I went to see the Ed Hunter tour and wow. I got goose bumps as the lights dimmed and Churchill's speech came over the P.A. Then when the lights came on and Maiden started with "Aces High" it was amazing. Funny moment in that show. During "The Number of the Beast" Bruce lifted Dave on his shoulders like he always does. But I guess they forgot they arent the young band from back in the day and they both fell on stage. That was pretty funny.

Agreed. "A Matter of Life and Death" is a great album. I was kinda disappointed with "Dance of Death" because I dont think it was a good follow up to "A Brave New World" which I think is a great album and their best since "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son." Someoen here mentioned listening to Motorhead. And yeah Motorhaed is a great band. Best concert I have ever been too was with Motorhead and Dio opening up for Maiden. Man that was awesome. Other stuff I listen to: Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Stone Temple Pilots, GnR, Eric Clapton/Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, The Police, and alot of other bands. Basiclly classic rock/metal/blues is what I listen to.

Yeah after I beat it on casual I also stopped about halfway through Hardcore. I was getting bored with it. But then I played online co-op and got really into it again. The thing is though, while I can play the campaign over and over because I find it fun, it always has to be with someone different. If I already beat the campaign with someone its no fun for me beating it again with that person and going through the same experience. Playing with someone new everytime is fun. Especially with people who are new to the game and dont know whats coming up next. Recently tried multi-player and am addicted to it. The multi-player is fun and I think while the campaign is really good, multi-player is really where the fun is in this game.

I was a member of RT.com way before I found this board. In fact I signed up for RT.com before the site was fully up and running. It just said Robotech.com with a "Coming Soon" banner. And now that I think about it I think I found MW around that time because I remember pre-ordering the Toycom Macross Plus Valkyries from Valk-Exchange. (How long ago was that? 2000? 2001?) But I guess I didnt bother to sign up to this board till June of 2002.

I've been playing GoW alot. Beat it on casual, hardcore, and Insane. Ive beaten on insane 4 times helping others beat it. Everytime I beat it on insane I say "I'll never play on insane again!" but I still do. If it wasnt for those damn exploding wretches Insane wouldnt be so bad. Just recently started playing multi player. Its fun as hell. Although I play in player matches not ranked. People in ranked matches for the most part care about points. Seems like everyone runs off looking to get kills for points, where in player matches its more teamwork oriented. I will eventually start playing ranked matches. Just want to get better first. Oh and I'll be glad to help out with anything. Playing on insane, hosting a game, etc. My XBL name is the same as here. Just add me.

I've been a member of MW since Jun. 2002. Over 4 years! Wow time does fly. I believe I found this place on my quest to start collecting Valks again. I found a Valk auction on eBay that had a link to Valkyrie-Exchange. The links on that site led me here. Been here ever since.

Damn I dont remember that cartoon. And I'm a child of the 80's. I do remember Bionic 6 though and some others mentioned above.

Wow I'm trying GoW on Hardcore difficulty and I am gettimg my butt handed to me. It's still fun though. I've learned that on Hardcore the Gnasher Shotgun and Longshot Sniper Rifle are my best friends.

Read a couple of articles on gaming magazines and yes more titles of that caliber will be on the way. I guess alot of developers we kinda holding back because they werent sure of what exactly the 360 is capable of. Now GoW shows what the 360 can do and man cant wait for all those new titles with those next gen graphics. Yeah I really liked Ninety-Nine Nights. Very Dynasty Warrior like. Only probs I have with the game is that there should be alot more playable characters, and the save system blows! I'm loving the 360. I hardly ever touch my PS2 now. Heh...I remember the only reason I bought the 360 was to get Rumble Roses XX. Never thinking it could ever beat out my Ps2. Now its my favorite console.

Mechafan can you give me a good strategy on beating RAAM. Ive been trying for 2 hours and keep getting my ass handed to me! I tried asking on Gamefaqs but the people there are idiots. They just flame or give smart ass answers. lol. I love this game but right now I am frustrated as hell. Edit: You can PM me so you wont give away anything to those who havent faced RAAM yet. 2nd Edit: Oh nevermind just beat RAAM. Awesome game just seems very short to me. Going to play it through Casual again before jumping into Hardcore.

Yeah picked up Gears Of War on thursday. Wow what a great game! Best graphics I have ever seen. Anyone play Act 3 yet? If you do check out the graphics there. The rainfall looks just so real its insane. The gameplay is awesome. Never a dull moment. I played through Act 1 on Friday. Yesterday I played for hours! I couldnt stop. Played Acts 2 through 4. Started Act 5 but I had to stop myself. Havent tried online yet. I want to but have to get the head set first. Figure that is prob a must for online play. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the chainsaw. Love chopping up Locusts with it. Maybe its just me but does anyone else think Marcus sounds like the Kool-Aid Man when he says "Oohhhh yeah!"?

Damn! Volume 6 is out already so soon after Volume 5?! I have to go buy it tomorrow. By the way, the local Best Buy here doesnt carry Macross DVDs either. Best Buy carried the first 2 but after that never saw volumes 3 through 5 there. So I pick up my Macross DVDs now at a local hole in the wall anime shop in the mall. Hopefully they will have Volume 6 when I go tomorrow.

Any word on a release date for volume 5?
