Actually, that's an excellent point about the infantry. So not only does the Anti-UN Destroid have to store that big gun and missile pod, but also carry infantry! When we first see it underwater stealing the AFOS head, it doesn't seem that large, certainly not large enough IMO. Graham

That's what I think, it's a sea skimming anti-ship missile. Also, you do see Nora and D.D.'s SV-51s carrying and launching 2 sea-skimming anti-ship missiles each, which they target against an Aegis cruiser. Two of the missiles get stopped by the ship's defences, but two get through and take out the Aegis. Graham

I'm probably in the minority here, but I have absolutely no interest in playing online PC FPS games against 64 people I'll probably never meet. I'd much rather play a console game against 2-3 friends in the comfort of my sitting room on my wide screen TV with lots of beer and pizza involved. Graham

Finally bit the bullet last night and decided to try my hand at this bittorrent and downloading malarky. Bear in mind I'm not really a techie person and I'm only just about computer literate (at least I know where the on switch is ). Anyway, I managed to find the BT site, I think(?) and download the software. I then found and downloaded Zero ep # 3, which took about 4-5 hours even though I have broadband. It downloaded as an .avi file, is that correct? Anyway, when I tried to play it this morning using Quicktime, I just got a white screen with no sound. When I tried RealOnePlayer it said I needed to download some more software and Windows Media Player told me I needed a new codec (whatever that is), sounds like a type of cold medicine! Unfortunately, my broadband modem was playing up this morning, so I couldn't download the upgrades, plus I had to rush off to work. Is there anything a complete newbie like me needs to know about getting the episode to play? Graham

Heh, I never actually formally proposed to my wife, which is something she never lets me forget. The story is like this, we had been living together for about 7 years already and talked about marriage, but we were not really in a hurry. Anyway, my parents in UK kept bugging me about getting married, so just to shut them up, I told them we were thinking about it sooni-ish and then all of a sudden just like that, they started arranging everything, booking the church, hotel reception etc. So rather than disappoint them, we just decided to go along with it and got married. I've no regrets and I've been married very happily for six and a half years already now. So I guess the closest I every came to a proposal was: - Me: "so ya' wanna get married in a few years?" Yup, you are correct, I just re-watched the scene and it does show a total of 8 x SV-51, not 5 as I previously stated. Graham

When do you see a VF-0 or Ghost coming up behind Nora? I've just rewatched the whole attack on the Asuka scene again and didn't see this? Are you sure you are not refering to Shin's VF-0D later on? Graham

I imagine that a Destroid Cheyenne is tough enough that it could probably withstand a few hits from an SV-51's 55mm gunpod, but remember in episode # 3, those Anti-UN variable amphibious destroids are shooting at the Cheyenne using what appears to be a powerful large bore beam weapon. I don't think there is any actual source that confirms that the Armor of a Destroid is actually tougher than the armor of a VF. While Destroids certainly look bulkier and appear to have thicker armor, their armor may just be made of convential materials and they may lack the SW-AG energy converting armor of a VF. Also, the VFs armour is likely to be OTM hyper-carbon or other OTM material. Remember, the VF-1 is rumored to cost 20 times more than a Destroid and part of this cost could be the SW-AG system and OTM armor. Graham

I'll have to have a look again tonight, I didn't notice another VF-0 or Ghost coming up behind Nora. I think at least one other SV-51 made it through as we only show two being destoryed, although nothing is seen of him again. Perhaps he's off shotting up the other ships. Graham

I strongly doubt that. I don't think they would have failed to show such a major event. Anyway, if all the other VFs already launched, why was Roy the only one left behind? Graham

Could be, but that would mean that flares can only be launched in battroid mode, as the chest holes are covered up in fighter and gerwalk modes. Graham
