  1. Some men like small breasts. Personally, I feel that anything more than you can cup in one hand is a waste. Oh and congratulations Zor primus. Graham
  2. I want the world to end in a George Romero type Zombie scenario. Graham
  3. I like Serenity so much that I have no problem with buying the initial bare-bones DVD release and then also buying the uber-super-extended-recut-directors-cut-remixed-unrated-special-dance-mix edition when it invariably comes out. I want Joss Whedon to make more Firefly movies, so the way I look at it is, if I can support the franchise by buying more of the DVDs there's a greater chance that a sequel will get the green light. Graham
  4. As much as I dislike what I've heard of the dub so far, I'm starting to consider buying it, but only so my son can watch Macross in English while he's still too young to be able to read subtitles. Graham
  5. Picked up the paperback novel of Serenity a while ago. Actually surprisingly good for a movie novelisation. My Serenity DVD is currently on the way from Amazon, together with BSG - season 2.0. Graham
  6. OK, thanks. Gotta go and check the colored lineart pics to see what color they show. Graham
  7. Nope, the only Fighter mode kits of the VF-17 were the 1/144 ones by Bandai (plastic) and Yellow Submarine (resin). The Yellow Submarine fighter mode kit is excellent for it's size and comes with FAST packs and a launching arm for display. I've got one for sale in this thread. If you want to have a VF-17 Battroid, Gerwalk and Fighter all in the same scale, your only option is to go with 1/144 scale. For Battroid mode, you will have to go with the Bandai plastic model. It's not a bad little kit and can be improved by adding some TECT detail-up parts (TECT upgrade kit No.7). For Gerwalk mode, your only choice is the Bandai Plastic fighter, combined with the TECT Gerwalk Conversion kit (TECT kit No. 5). For Fighter mode, you can use either the Bandai or Yellow Submarine 1/144 kits. The Yellow Submarine kit has by far the better sculpt and more detail. VF-17 kits that I know of are: - 1/72 Scale: 1) Wave soft-vinyl (PVC) Battroid Kit. there are two versions of this, the first with a Yellow Box has metal parts for the hands and other small parts. The second later release has a white box (but same box art), but the metal parts are replaced by plastic parts. 1/100 Scale: 1) Wave resin VF-17S/D Battroid with FAST Packs. 2) I'm pretty sure there was also a Wave 1/100 scale resin VF-17TKai Battroid (can't recall if this came with a sound booster or not), but unfortunately, it's not shown on the main Macrossworld site. 1/144 Scale: 1) Bandai Plastic Fighter and Battroid 2-in-1 kit. 2) Yellow Submarine resin Fighter mode kit with FAST Packs and Stand. 3) TECT resin conversion kit No. 5 - Gerwalk Conversion. 4) TECT resin conversion kit No. 7 - Detail-Up parts, Fighter mode Radome & display stand 5) TECT resin conversion kit No. 16 - VF-17T Kai Battroid Conversion Kit. 6) TECT resin conversion kit No. 17 - Sound Booster for use with 1/144 VF-17T kai. Unknown Scale: 1) IHP also did an extremely small run of a perfect variable VF-17D resin kit several years ago (late '90s IIRC). I don't remember what scale this was, but I think it was either 1/144 or 1/100. I think it was an event exclusive item (Wonder Fest?) and thus extremely rare. This thread has some pics of my completed 1/144 Yellow Submarine and 1/100 Wave VF-17 kits. I would love to have a 1/72 scale V-17D/S fighter kit. Hopefully, someday Hasegawa will oblige. Graham
  8. If you search through the 15 pages of the Unofficial Color Scheme Thread, you can find some blank VF-0 lineart, both top view and side view. Graham
  9. And here's the official site. Graham
  10. Original ACE 2 thread from August 12th. Although it is in the Other Anime Forum, not the games forum for some reason. But anyway, thanks for the nice magazine scan Solscudd007. Graham
  11. Whether or not A1 is co-admin material is solely up to Shawn to decide. In the end, whatever we may think of A1 is irrelevant. The thing is Macrossworld does urgently need somebody to do regular site updates. I'm going to be contacting (or attempting to contact) Shawn sometime within the next week and let him know that 3 people (A1, Mechamaniac & Azrael) are interested in the position. I'll then urge Shawn to contact each of those 3 people and hopefully he can make his mind up fairly quickly which person or persons he wants to give the position to. Graham

    Vf-0s From Yamato

The dedicated Yamato 1/60 VF-0S picture & information thread is here. Lots of pics to be seen. Graham
  13. There's been posts on MW about ACE2 already, quite a while ago. Unfortunately, the game only has the VF-1J and VF-1S.....yawn! No Mac Zero, Mac Plus or Mac 7 mecha. Graham
  14. Very nice. I agree, it's always nice to see non-canon paint schemes. Graham
  15. I'm not familiar with the manga, only the anime. Is the Gigantic Dark supposed to by an upgrade of Guyver III or what? Graham
  16. Alex, can you remember if the 3 missiles in the forearm armor were blue? Graham
  17. If this was the good old days, I'd have a sample in hand already and a review up by now.....grumble, grumble, grumble. Graham
  18. Grab your camera, take some pics and post them please. Graham
  19. Agent ONE, I do hope you realise that if you get the co-admin position, you may need to do updates related to Macross 7 merchandise Graham
  20. Yes, because Shawn, Myersjesse and myself have very little free time to update the site these days. Graham
  21. Agent One & Mechamaniac. If you are both serious about this, please PM me your email addresses and cell phone numbers. I will then call Shawn on his cell phone to discuss the matter with him, letting him know you are both interested in the co-admin position. I'll pass your email and cell phone info to him, so he can contact you directly (if he chooses) to discuss the matter with you both. Graham
  22. It's not a P9, it's a VP-70 Graham.
  23. If you seriously want to be a co-admin Agent One, you will need to get in touch with Shawn by either email or phone and discuss it with him directly. The same applies to anybody else interested in the position. This is not something that Jesse or myself have the authority to approve. I presume you have at least some basic familiarity with Dreamweaver or Front Page (or other similar software) so that you can actually update the main site? Also, Shawn has requested that people interested in the co-admmin position have knowledge of the following: - "MW runs on redhat 9, has uses php, mysql, and apache. Experience needed (not expert, but at least some familiarity-google smart + common sense would be fine)" Lastly, you actually need to have the free time and the willingness to help maintain the site and work on semi-regular updates. Graham
