  1. Nice scans, although I thought this month's Newtype has 6 pages of Frontier stuff? So there are still possibly two more pages we haven't seen yet. Interesting, I bet that blue and White VF-25 belongs to Michael. Looks quite silmilar to Max's TV VF-1J scheme. I note that it is different to the blue and white (I say purple and white) color scheme that appeared in the early commercials. It looks like that early scheme was just a placeholder color, as I and others suspected. Good thing too, as it was fugly IMO. So looks like we have at least 4 color variations of the VF-25 for Bandai to make as toys: - 1) Ozuma's grey w/black and yellow trim. 2) Alto's white w/black and red trim. 3) Blue and white (Michael?). 4) Cannon Fodder, tan and white. Plus hopefully Armoured Packs and Super Packs in matching colors! Between Bandai and Yamato, it's gonna be an expensive year! Graham
  2. Out of all the names suggested so far, I'm still digging "Seraph" or "Seraphim" the most. It goes with the angle wings thing that the VF-25 has going on. Graham
  3. I'm not sure why CM's put that single missile in the rear landing gear bay. As far as I can tell from my various Mospeada and Artmic art books, there shouldn't even be any missiles there. If I'm right the lower legs have four bays as follows: - Outer lower leg, top bay = 4 missiles. Outer lower leg, bottom bay = 4 missiles. Inner lower leg, top bay = 4 missiles. Inner lower leg, bottom bay = rear landing gear only (no missiles). Even the animimation seems top back this up. See the pics below, which show no missiles being fired from the inner lower leg bottom bay, only from the other three leg bays. Graham

  15. VF-25 Bug Squasher
  16. All all the names suggested so far, I think Gubaba's suggestion of VF-25 "Seraph" is the most fitting. My suggestions. VF-25 Hellbringer. VF-25 Armageddon. Graham
  17. I don't get why people say the VF-25 is a low number. It's only 14 years since the events in Macross 7 and only 9 years since VF-X2. In 2050, the VF-19 and VF-22 where still not in widespread use yet. This is Macross, where VF's usually stay in service for quite a number of years (just like the real world), not Gundam, where new MS are introduced nearly every week! Graham

  20. Chapter 3, page 29. Pages 28 & 29 really need combining together in one image as it is a two-page spread. Anybody want to try? Graham

  22. Sorry, only 4 more pages scanned today. Got a seriously bad headache at the moemnt, so gonna take some pain killers and go to bed. Will finish scanning the last few pages tomorrow. Here's chapter 3, page 27. Graham
  23. Heh, as the original Last Starfighter movie used CG in an age where models were predominantely used, pehaps a modern sequel should buck the current trend and use all models, rather than CG. Actually, I'd love to see models used again in sci-fi movies. To be honest, I'm sick of CG space ships. Graham
  24. Wasn't there some news last year about the actor who plays Spiderman getting the rights to a live action Robotech movie? Or was that a particulaly bad dream I had after one too many buritos? Graham
  25. Great 80's movie. Wouldn't mind a sequel if done right. Have to dig out the DVD and watch it again soon. Graham
