  1. Also has the TV version glass HUD, as compared with the DYRL holographic HUD. Graham
  2. Based on the Macrossworld poll taken when the Deculture edition aired in December, it scored 82.56%, or 232 out of a 281 Mwers that watched the Deculture edition rated it as 'Oh baby! I need new pants' (highest rating). For the current poll for the broadacst version, there is no category for 'I need new pants'. Only a category, for loved both the Deculture and Broadcast versions, so a direct comparison of polls is not really possible. However the current figures are: 47 out of 77 Mwers (61.04%) voted that they loved both editions. Graham
  3. Damn, burnt the file to DVD, but none of my three standalone DVD players will play it. Codecs not right I guess. Have to watch it on my office laptop, as the DVD drive on my ancient, creaking home PC is shot also. Graham
  4. Shinsen did a pretty good Job of the Deculture vesion subs. I think most people here were pretty happy with it. It was certainly light years better than the Seiyan subs version. Graham
  5. Just change the file extension from .mp4 to .avi, that's what I did. Seems to work fine. Graham
  6. Downloading now at 25%. Hopefully less than 15 minutes to go! Graham
  7. With each meeting, I'm trying to persuade them to go for the M7 licence as I think there is definitely enough demand now for a good 1/60 VF-22 Max, Millia & Gamlin, VF-11B/D, VF-17D/S Dimoand Force and VF-17S Milia and VF-19Kai/F/S. Graham
  8. I love the Clash of the Bionoids dub. It's a classic. Back in my younger days, a friend and I when walking back home from the pub drunk, would shout out at every couple we saw "A man and a woman together, it must be Protoculture". We'd usually then fall on the floor in fits of laughter. Seemed funny at the time. Graham
  9. Saw this news on the offial Frontier Blog: Google translation: Guess that means the first episode of Frontier did well in the ratings (2nd place?). Graham
  10. Haven't watched Code Geass myself and have no intention to. For all I know, it may be the most awesome anime in the history of anime, with a kick-ass story, the best music, most interesting characters etc, etc but what I do know is that it has what I personally consider to be really butt-ugly mecha, based on the all the pics I've seen in the hobby magazines. The mecha designs alone are enough to put me off even giving it a chance. Graham
  11. Frontier has had one episode shown so far Code Geass has been on for quite a while already. Of course Code Geass will have more material available. Graham
  12. Yes, the legs and arms can detach on the YF-21. No, you don't have to detach the legs (or arms) on the YF-21 to transform it. Detaching the arms, can make transforming from battroid back to fighter slightly easier under some circumstances though. For the record, I think referring to the YF-21 sans legs and arms as "delimiter mode" is incorrect. IMO, delimiter mode, is just Guld switching of the artificial limits in the flight control software that prevent the YF-21 from exceeding certain speed and G limits, which would otherwise be dangerous to the pilot. This is nothing to do with ejecting the arms and legs. Guld ejected the arms and leg stumps because they were too badly damaged and no longer any use and would have probably added excessive drag. And that fat legged VF-22 lineart only ever appeared in one issue of B-Club magazine IIRC. All other VF-22 line art published in mutiple art books has shown the VF-22 with idenical slim legs to the YF-21 (see pic below for normal legged VF-22 compared with YF-21). Graham
  13. Chapter 4, page 36. That's the final page for this chapter. Graham

  20. Yeah, in the opening, tight before the shot of the 3 bridge bunnies IIRC. It's really quick though. Blink and you'll miss it. In fact, if another member hadn't mentioned it was there, I probably would have missed it too. As it was, I had to slow the opening down to quarter speed to catch it. Graham
  21. Grabbed the pic with the Konig Monster. Graham
  22. Actually, what the compendium says is: The way I read that is it doesn't definitevely say one way or another whether the VF-25 does or does not have passive (or active) stealth. It just says that Kawamori wanted to move away from the silhouettes (shape) of current real-world fighters that use passive stealth, such as the YF-22/F-22, YF-23, F-35 etc. I think it can be inferred though that passive stealth, e.g. stealth through shaping and RAM is out. However, there is still the possibility that the VF-25 may employ an active stealth system, like on the YF-19/21. At the moment, we just don't know until Kawamori choses to release full specs. Graham
  23. Many VFs have had the holographic HUD ability, displaying info on the inside of the canopy. Ones that have been shown to have it IIRC are VF-1 (DYRL), VF-11B (M+), YF-19 (M+). Graham
  24. Will try to get the last 7 pages done tonight. Sorry, got real busy the last few days. Actually, the next 2 pages are a double spread, so hopefully, somebody can edit them togther. Graham
