  1. Fot those like myself that are not skilled modellers, I'd definitely recomend the stickers. They look good and stick very well. Graham
  2. Yep, the legs are still in transition from fighter to Gerwalk. You can clearly see the dark triangle, behind the intake, which means the legs are not completely straight yet. Graham
  3. The official Macross Frontier vol.2 (eps 2-4) DVD/BluRay is out for ages already. I received mine from Amazon Japan at least 2-3 weeks ago. I think your post is a typo and you meant vol.3, which contains eps 5-7. Graham
  4. I for one never really liked the idea of posting new pics only on the first page. Most people including myself check the toy threads several times daily for updates anyway and I don't really like having to check back to the first page all the time just for new pics. By all means new pics an be posted on the first page, but they should also be posted in the in current posts. Graham
  5. Hopefully, once the Macross Chronicles gets done with the three trillion pages on the VF-1, we will eventually get some VF-25 pages with detailed stats. I too love stats, as detailed as possible. Agree, comparing is fun. Graham
  6. Very cool. Graham
  7. Milia's red VF-17S is really a blast. It has really rapid fire micro-missile launchers. Missile capacity is limited, but they fire off and reload really quick. Graham
  8. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Despite being parts-formers, with every new pic posted these are looking better and better than the 1/60 DX line. Graham
  9. One more thing I just noticed and really dislike. See the head in this pic. The red and black lines should flow smoothly into the matching red and black lines on the back plate. Instead the head curves down too much and there is a dip or gulley between the head and the back plate. Not good. Graham
  10. I'm a little bit worried about that peg I see sticking out of the underside of the wing glove in battroid mode. I guess it's for locking the wings in place in fighter mode, but it looks a little too thin to me. Hopefully not prone to breakage. Graham
  11. Good, increases the chance of a MAF sequel then. Graham
  12. Nice, the 1/100 line is looking sweet. Assuming the quality, materials and detailing is good, I can see these getting more of my money than the chunky 1/60s. Now bring on the VF-171. Graham
  13. What is this other matter you keep referring to? Curious. Graham
  14. What site are you getting the pic from? I notice the sniper rifle doesn't have the pop up optical sight, or at least it's not shown. Graham
  15. Note, with the Super and Armored packs the wing root guns have extra armor on top of them, which is why they look bigger than the unarmored guns of the model kit. Graham
  16. Now that's what I like to see, VF-25G, RVF-25, Ghost and extremely cool SMS base. I hope those bases are sold seperately, so I can get one for each Valk. I hope somebody takes a close up pic of the sign, so we can see if any release date is mentioned. Graham
  17. Not a huge Trek fan, but enjoyed watching TOS as a kid back in the 70s', in fact it was a 'must watch' back then as a little kid. I'll also watch TNG and DS9 if they are on TV, but don't have time for any of the other series. Don't like the franchise well enough to buy DVDs or other merchandise though. However, I do usually go to the cinema to watch the movies. With all that said, I must say I do quite like the latest photos of the new movie. One question, why does Spock look angry? Isn't he supposed to be emotionless? Graham
  18. I was travelling home on the train last night after having a few drinks with one of our suppliers who is visiting from Sweden. I pulled out my PSP and started playing MAF to pass the half hour train journey. The next station, the doors open and this youngish Chinese guy (in his 20s' I guess), boards the train and sits down next to me on the left. He also takes out his PSP, turns it on and starts playing. I glance over and down to check out what he's plaing and it's also MAF! He was playing Frontier era using the VF-25F, while I was playing M7 era using the VF-17S. Pretty cool to actually find somebody else playing MAF. I probably should have asked him if he wanted to try a game together, but felt a bit weird at asking a total stranger. Anyway, he got of the train a couple of stops later. Graham
  19. Gotta agree, music in Zero was pretty dull and weak IMO. Can't remember any of it enough to hum any of the tunes, this despite owning the OST CD and listening to it quite a lot. On the other hand, I find Kanno's work on Mac Plus and Frontier fantastic and extremely memorable. And yes, music in 7 was also amazing. Graham
  20. I'm also hoping these will be heavily panel lined and tamp printed. Graham
  21. A prototype kit of the red Vajra was shown at a hobby show several months ago (at least I think it was a kit, not a toy). However, since then there has been no further news or appearance. Graham
  22. Some of the SOC, the 1/100 HCM-Pros. Graham
  23. I'm sure we will see Super and hopefully Armored versions of Alto's VF-25F and Ozma's VF-25S from Bandai at some point. As to whether all the Super and Armoured parts will be fully removable, I have my doubts. I'm sure we will also see Michaels' VF-25G and Luca's RVF-25 in kit form, but beyond that it's still unknown if Bandai will release other mecha from the show. Graham
  24. WARNING To all members. Please do not post these made up, fantasy release schedules. Otherwise this is going to cause all sorts of confusion to members that do not read posts very carefully. By all means post a list of kits you would like to see released, but please don't put false, made up dates next to them. That is just creating misinformation and adding to to the general confusion Note, the only official release dates for the model kits quoted so far are: - Nov 08: reissue of Alto VF-25F. Nov 08: first issue of Ozma VF-25S. There has been NO official news of any other model kit releases so far. The next post containing a false or misleading release schedule will be deleated. Repeat offenders will get a temp ban. There is enough confusion about releases already, without adding to it. Graham
  25. I think the problem that many of us have is that we know Bandai have the skill/technology/experience etc, to make a great looking lineart accurate (as far as possible) toy that is durable and rugged to boot. The problem is that they are so obviously not bringing their 'A' game to the table. Heck, Yamato is 95% of the way there. All they need to do is take more care with their QC and work on tighter joints that don't loosen or break so easily and they would be 100% of the way there. Graham
