  1. Looks beutiful. That photos is a bit blurry, but the head, specifically the face does look a bit different to me. Graham
  2. Bah, SDFM TV schemes are boring. DYRL schemes rock!!!!!! Graham
  3. I think it's a given that the toy would be changed in some way for the movie, i.e. redesigned Super Packs, possible change in color scheme etc. Afterall, Bandai is the major sponsor for Macross Frontier and they will of course want to use the movie as an oportunity to sell more toys. Graham
  4. They should ask Kawamori to do a Jetfire toy. I'm sure he'd manage to do away with or at least minimise the amount of kibble. There's a ridiculous amount of kibble on that thing! Graham
  5. Got my CF-1J a few days ago, but haven't opened the box yet. Been too busy playing with the VF-22 and the Mac Plus GN-U FP sets. Will try to take CF-1J out of the box tonight. Graham
  6. Will be picking up the new issue of New Type magazine in about an hour, so it will be interesting to see if there are any pics of the new movie type Super Packs. Graham
  7. Would like to see Bandai make the gunpod a darker grey. Graham
  8. Closing this thread as we already have a "what music are you listening to thread". Graham
  9. Wow, would love to get a few sets of those seats. Extremely cool. Graham
  10. Heh, the Google machine translation is quite funny. Nice to know a new supemarket will be renewed.........LOL! But is the new footage 6% or 60%? Graham
  11. Looks the same to me. Graham
  12. Who's to say there's are not two different gunpods? I may be remembering wrongly, as it's a long time since I watched it, and possibly it's an animation error, but IIRC in Macross Dynamite 7, they had the Gunpod of Gamlin's VF-22S firing and sounding like a beam gun and the forearm guns sounding like rapid fire projectile cannon. Graham
  13. Will probably pass on the VF-25F Super. Too many VF-25 toys already. The Q-Rea is a must buy.
  14. HLJ, the Bandai Tamashi site, or just search back through this thread a few pages.
  15. Don't think the Bird of Prey & Double Nuts are out yet.
  16. Got mine yesterday and love it. I've always prefered the look of the VF-22 over the YF-21 & Gamlin is my all time favorite character. Toy seems a bit tighter than the YF-21.
  17. Been meaning to ask, does the VF-1 look any different in Macross The First? Has Mikimoto tweaked or updated it at all? Graham
  18. When I was a kid, I seldom used to use my Viewmaster for its intended purpose. Instead, it made a cool if slightly unusual looking spaceship toy.
  19. From the Frontier Archives book, I've located the likely location of 2 more verniers on the Armoured pack. These are on a previously unknown piece of armour on the outer part of the upper leg, located just below the intake armour. These are not visible on the CG art due to the angle of thd art, but are visible in the lineart & model kit pics. Will post pics on Monday. Home scanner down now.
  20. I really hope that whoever sold the rights to Universal took them for every cent they could get and are laughing all the way to the bank. I really don't get why Universal even thought it was necessary to buy the rights. Graham
  21. Have to check the line art again, but I always throught the VF-22's visoor had an upper and lower lip, which doesn't appear on the latest toy pics. Graham
  22. Unlike the YF-21, the VF-22 is supposed to store it's gunpods internally in the leg bay cover panels in fighter mode. How the gunpods are removed or ejected for battroid and gerwalk mode is never shown in the anime. Due to space limitations, it was not possible for Yamato to make the gunbods on the toy be able to be stored internally, without make the leg bay panels significantly more bulky, which would have spoiled the look of fighter mode. Graham
  23. If you are a good boy, maybe she will even hold your joystick. Graham
  24. LOL! Never minding about scraping the bottom of the barrel, they've finally broken right through the bottom. I wonder how much they had to 'pay' for the rights......LOL......Idiots! Graham
