Aren't the Marines officially part of the Navy? That's why Naval Medical Corpsmen used to fight with the Marines.... I mean, that's what Marines originally were... infantry who were based on naval ships....

I seriously considered it... my family had a long relationship with the Navy, but my generation seems to have broken it. I don't think I would have done well in the military, anyway. I don't much care for being told what to do.... I usually listen, and then do my own thing, which I understand is frowned on in the military... edited for spellin'

No marriage for me. Still happily single from my last gf.... dating occasionally, but nothing serious. I'm too selfish for a wife, I think..... or maybe it's independent....

Raphael and Voldo. Raphael just covers so much ground so quickly, he can be hard for me to deal with. And Voldo, well, because he's Voldo. No-one around here plays him, so I don't really have a good grasp on his combos and ugly stuff.

Ivy and Astaroth are my principles. Astaroth was an easy change from Rock in Soul Edge and SCI, but I only picked up Ivy in SCII. I'd say she's my best.... But I still can't buffer the CS and SS moves for crap.... my major weakness with Ivy.

I love the damn thing, Yamato fixed or severely lessened the defaults the original VF-11B had. I've had no problems with the hips on my FP release.... My main complaint is the FP attachement method for the boosters... I keep thinking I'll break the tabs on them when I take them off.

Provided it's not a full armour variant, count me in! I know it's heresy, but I don't much care for the armour versions.... GBP, armoured Gerwalk, whatever...

Absolutely gorgeous... I burned one of my paintbrushes in honor of this guy.... Seeing stuff like that makes me feel such heights of emotion... dumbfounded awe and respect for the modeler who is capable of this, and abysmal dismay at my own skills....

Wasn't it, though... I was really looking forward to this game, and even suffered through it up to Van Croy's apartment... at which point I lost all my weapons but the one I was carrying. That's when I put it down and quit.... Story was promising... but they really needed another couple of months development on this one.... I think they focused so much on getting it out before the movie that both wound up suffering for it....

Uhm, yes there are. Guard recovery accessories recover 10% of FHP when you guard.... Frankly, I've not had a problem with getting my butt kicked. You just have to know when you need your AGWS and when you don't.... properly accessorized, an AGWS rarely has too many problems. I will admit that Xenogears has a better story than Xenosaga, though....

Just about to turn 28. Been loving Robotech since it came out, and Macross after learning the 'truth' about Robotech. Been collecting only for a few years, though...

Favorites would have to be Xenosaga and FFX-2. I'd say Soul Calibur II but I bought that for Xbox.... What was it that people hated so about Xenosaga? I'm quite happy with it....

Hopefully of Mark II and Mark VII Vipers... and maybe a Raptor.... And of course, the Cylon Raiders....

No.... just... no. I'm a huge Herbert fan, and have read all sorts of his books other than just the Dune trilogy (try White Plague, way ahead of his time), but I have to say, the new prequels just suck.... bad. I read House Atreides, and thought it was bad. Decided to give House Harkonnen a second chance, and couldn't even finish it, I thought it was so bad. The writing just isn't Dune-quality... it's not even close. And that's not even commenting on the subtle rewriting of things... Forget it. I'm not reading anything Dune not written by Frank Herbert again....

Alex was the gunner, and Grig was the pilot... until they got into combat. At that point, Alex' controls could override Grig's console.... as far as I recall, at least. But yeah, I'd buy a Last Starfighter game... sure as hell. Provided it didn't suck, that is... no amount of nostalgia can overcome game-suck....

Any hints on how to tell bootleg books?
