    Out of nowhere, no. But they weren't engaged in hostilities with the New Republic until that year. Leia's people were the only ones who took them seriously.

    The show was a pleasure from start to finish.

    Because it's streaming and not on disc. It's about regional restrictions on disc sales and dissuading people from buying stuff outside of their region.

    Watched the first episode of Macross Zero and no occasional fades to black. However, the quality of the picture was disappointing. Looked to be SD. I am going to guess it's a limitation of the original source, like Flashback.

    I use Apple TV 4K as my streaming device, and I am watching through the Hulu integration in Disney+. I might install the Hulu app itself to see if it still happens there.

    I've been noticing with Frontier that there seem to be two added fades to black each episode, right in the middle of scenes. One in the first half of the episode, and one in the second. No idea why.

    Yeah, I can't say I agree with folks who are complaining about its removal. It blew my mind that the scene was even there to begin it.

    I don't think there is any other version of it. I vaguely recall something about the original elements being lost.

    I certainly hope so. I just watched Flashback on Disney+ and oof, it looks terrible.

    The close captioning is bothering me more than I thought it would. It's not terrible, but there are points where things are too cluttered or go by too quickly because they're trying to fit in the CC.

    Yeah, just started Frontier and things look to be displaying properly. Subtitles show as English. It was Flashback that was wonky.

    Can confirm subtitles are available in the Disney+ app on an Apple TV, but they are listed as being Japanese. They're definitely English, though. Close captioned subtitles, as previously reported.

    You know that big British guy you know? Well, he passed away, so we've replaced him with another big British guy who you know. I've said it before and I've said it again: I'm more interested in this character's story than I am with what's going on with Ahsoka and Co.
