I just watched my ADV MOSPEADA DVDs again this past week. The translation and subtitles in the set are about on par with your average HK bootleg job. I realized that it shouldn't really shock me that the Macross dub is truly that bad. Are all of ADV's products this bad?

Been dabbling around in spoilers. We're pretty much coming to the end of any resemblence to the original show.The end of this season should be... interesting. Third season stuff should be entirely new territory for the new show.

Also, I am fairly certain that it was made public that at one point they had Dirk slated to play the Cylon God, but instead went with the baby angle on Kobol.

Dirk Benedict needs a cameo in this thing at some point.

I dug it. Nice to see some Viper combat. I do have a problem (of course). The whole cliched act Kat put on for the episode. Is that the best the writers could come up with? Good to see another fleet episode coming up next week.

Agent One was the real hero of Macross. I saw him tear a Zentradi in half once with his bare hands.

We asked for one once, a while back. They said no. Damned trekkies.

I have an iPod Video, and I can't imagine watching video on it. The screen is just too blood small for it.

Something like 60-40 against Macross 7. Put it up against Macross Plus, and it does even worse.

Anyway, as I was saying, the character age of Obi-Wan (57) and Guinness's age (62) at the time of shooting are close enough to dismiss it as a post-prequel continuity error. This of course does not cover over the age problems with Anakin and Owen & Beru Lars post-prequel.

I'd like to say that anything and everything Agent One has to say about Macross 7 should be considered to be my position on the series as well.
