Almost none, really. Its a homage piece, as the original Top was. Where Top paid homage to anime of the 70's and 80's, Top2 does this with the 90's and 00's. Its really a re-imaging more than a sequel.

I have one game console, the PS2 I bought on release day. It still runs without any problems, even after 3 GTA games and two RPGs (FFX and DGVIII). Personally, I had Dynasty Warriors 2 and Armored Core 2 shortly after release, and I was VERY happy. 50,000 or 50,000,000, both numbers are grossly off.

Why Keith, that's Gigil in the upper right picture. I couldn't find one in human form, but of course, you knew that was him up there. You being the biggest Macross 7 fan on the planet and all... I'm sorry to say I couldn't find a single picture of Gepelitch. There's just not alot of interest for Macross 7 out on the net. And yes, Keith, I have watched Sailor Moon, a series far more coherant and interesting than Macross 7. You could actually say I watched more Sailor Moon than was probably healthy for a human being.

Well, besides Moore saying he intends to go against the cliche and keep the Pegasus around (one of the reasons being that everyone expected them to get rid of it), I don't think promoting Lee to Commander and then having him go back to being CAG on the Galactica would work. Remember, the third season is going to be the real departure from the original show. Its being set up by events unfolding before us now at the end of the second. Everything that you might be expecting to happen might not turn out the way you think (or so says Moore and company).

Its not about it being "gay", its about the generic, feminine, Sailor Moon bad guy rejects used in macross 7. That skater isn't all that far off from the Protodeviln, outside of his constume being too tame. I watched all 50 episodes, alot of you seem to be forgetting that. I put my time in.

Look at it this way: Macross antagonist before Macross 7: Macross antagonist after Macross 7:

Maybe its just me, but Macross 7 really destroyed any interest in seeing the Supervision Army for me.
