I'd take this as them trying to sell off as much as possible before people start seeing the movie, which is not good. If it was good I'd think they'd want to hold off and build anticipation fueled by good reviews.

Those are some real good looking builds, @nightmareB4macross, @Papa Rat and @MacrossJunkie,

Going to be starting season 3 of Unforgotten, a British murder mystery series that started in 2015.

The best part was the last five seconds!
Good to see Sheehan in another role anyway...

Real glad to see the Shuttle being finished up @pengbuzz. It's looking good on its stand.

Saw it today and was pleasantly entertained. I was expecting less, but the actors and director did a fine job. The story is pretty straight forward, but it is just a vehicle for the character interactions/drama and the action, all being done very well, IMO. No JP sequel has been as good as the first, but this is now favorite second. I'd give it an 8/10.

I probably wouldn't care about critic reviews so much if movie tickets weren't so expensive. Now, a film must score a 8/10 or equivalent with good word of mouth if its expects me to shell out $70 to $100 (or more) for a movie date night with my wife.
It's usually just Me, Myself and I, and I can be a pretty cheap date.

Will be popping in to see it next Tuesday. I hope it's good, as me and critics (ie, people paid to tell me their opinion) often differ.

Dude, that is phenomenal! Love the added detail you gave to it. Will you be adding Destroids and Monsters to the decks?

Hasegawa is re-releasing these two kits, just FYI:
1/72 VF-31A Kairos - Macross Delta
1/48 VF-1J Super/Strike Valkyrie SVF-41 Black Aces
The Black Aces is my favorite squadron scheme of the ones they’ve done, so I’m tempted, but I already have a couple I haven’t built yet.
Great news about the Kairos! Def want to get that one!

For you theater-goers.
AMC now warns moviegoers to expect ‘25-30 minutes’ of ads and trailers
Maybe it's a blessing-in-disguise that I have less time to go to theaters these days.
Can confirm. At least twenty minutes of commercials BEFORE the trailers even start. UGH!!

I like Glen Powell - and also the Running Man, so I hope this turn out good.

If they are giving us another 'Martian,' but now with aliens - I'm in!!

I still kinda like the Ghost in the Shell movie, although that’s a bit flawed as well, and the Battle Angel Allita movie might be the best I’ve seen. I wouldn’t pick either of those over their anime adaptations though, but those are probably the best examples, although I also don’t think they were super successful at the box office.
I haven't watch either anime originals of GitS or ABA, but I really liked both movies on their own merit. Still awaiting that sequel to Alita...

Oh dear Gawd, why?!?! His last few Transformers movies (ie all of them) were so full of infantile, over the top crap that it's a wonder anyone would give him another franchise to wreck. Or further wreck. Can you wreck a wreck..? Wreck on a wreck!? The only good one to come out of the franchise was Bumblebee and that wasn't even directed by him. I recall seeing that and thinking that, finally, it had turned away from his idiotic corner, but I guess whether someone has talent or not doesn't matter.
Unless it is 980° from anything else he has ever made, this is probably something I will not watch for free. In fact, I will pay myself not to watch it.

Never interested in the anime, but having it go back to the original publisher could be the best thing. I think it would do better in the smaller Japanese market where there would be far more of a fan-base. Bringing it over here just got it lost amid the Hollywood Shuffle. Plus, if it was made here, you'd probably have another Ghost in the Shell, with its divisive reception.

Good looking work on the stand @pengbuzz.
-
I fully agree with that. Don't rush it and concentrate on getting it right.

It was a good popcorn flick to coast through a few lazy hours on. Not great, but good and enjoyable. Plus, I watched it at home where I had better popcorn and cold Coca Cola from the fridge rather than the Pepsi-crap at the theater.
And Shira Haas... I'd be taken by that Widow!

Don't need a final trailer, already going to see it!

Co-author with David Webber on the Starfire series and numerous other works all his own, he has passed away from cancer. Baen Books posted on Facebook about, though I have yet to see any others. Truly sad. I really enjoyed the Starfire books.
