  1. So Winter Season is mostly wrapped up. a few from this season.. Sousou no Frieren 2nd Season - starting things off.. the best thing of this season IMO. Some anime original stuff here as some filler, but the buildup to the City of Gold was done very well. I am kinda surprised 2nd season did not capstone with that arc, having said that.. that story would require more then 1 or 2 episodes.. I am expecting more, especially with the way the prologue hints to it. 9/10 Sentenced to Be a Hero - Kinda mixed on this one, it started out very strongly but I think it really started losing its overall direction halfway through it. I am in for 2nd season which was already announced. 6/10 An Adventurer's Daily Grind at Age 29 - This could have gone sideways real fast, but ended up actually being pretty wholesome. Mrs. Liked this one alot, it had its good points and some pretty good humor. 7/10 Wash It All Away - Another one that got the approval from the Mrs. 2 in 1 season.. that is rare. Honestly its not bad, better then most of the other slop out as of late. I'd recommend it if your looking for slice of life type anime. 7/10 The Demon King's Daughter is Too Kind!! - meh. lost interest after 5 episodes and it sounds like it didn't get any better. You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! - verdict is still out on this.. kinda lost interest after episode 4 or 5, I may come back around to it again.. this one did NOT get the seal of approval from the Mrs. A few still wrapping.. will add them later. Debating Oshi no Ko S3, S2 left a bad taste in my mouth and I have not heard much about S3.
  2. So back to the collection for me.. having finished Tora Dora, I figured I would try for the 2nd of the triple crown of Tsundere Loli characters voiced by Rie Kugimiya.. which is Zero no Tsukaima/The familiar of Zero. 4 seasons, and I will admit I still have a soft spot for this series, even with the fact that Louise is a terrible choice for the MC. Tiffania any day of the week was a better choice. With that said, I think the series starts pretty strong, but somewhere along S2 and S3 runs out of gas. The whole Albion war arc is pretty rough to watch, particularly the school hostage story arc. Season 4 does a fairly good job at capping the whole series.
  3. Was traveling on business so waaaaay late this season. Frieren 2nd season, started it playing catchup. I do have some high hopes for this season considering the things they can cover. Sentenced to be a hero, I am only 3 episodes in and its pretty good so far. I am in for the long haul at this point. Oshi no Ko 3rd season, Once again I am waiting till the series nears its wrapup this season before I start watching it. 2nd season kinda killed this series for me, but I am willing to give it a go... later. There was a Cute Girl in the Hero's Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her, I have been DLing it but have not started it yet. Fate/strange Fake, another I have been DLing it. Honestly though I have had enough of Fate/Beating a dead horse. SHIBOYUGI: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table, I have seen 2 episodes.. not really my thing I guess. Its not terrible but it doesn't sit right with me. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2, Illegals S1 was entertaining. Not into the My Hero franchise other then this. You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!, 2 episodes in.. and well... at least its straight forward about what it is. For now I will keep at it. An Adventurer's Daily Grind at Age 29, the only title I am current on. Its not bad, not great either but its entertaining. TRIGUN STARGAZE, dunno. I bailed on the first remake. I can't see this being any better. Wash It All Away, I am only on ep 5, its not bad. The culmination will probably be her getting her memories back. Its pretty light hearted, and a relaxing watch. The Demon King's Daughter is Too Kind!!, I have it, but not started it yet.. like other this season Isekai Office Worker: The Other World's Books Depend on the Bean Counter, pass got 2 episodes in and I am not into BL. Vigilantes S2, 29 year old adventurer, Frieren, and Sentenced to be a hero are my gotos at this point of the Winter Anime season.
  4. been a hot minute since I last popped into this thread.. lots of cool stuff. But no more $$ from me till they come through with what they owe me. Any word on that backlog as of late?
  5. So going through my list and that is a wrap on Fall 2025 anime season.. One Punch Man S3.. where to start.. Honestly watch the first episode and the 12th episode and call it a day. Everything else was a snooze fest... and yes I know it stuck to the source material.. but this was just boring. I have a bunch more to wrap, next on my list is finishing May I ask for one last thing, then probably Marie. and a few other I can't remember off the top of my head.
  6. Wrapped up Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Season 2.. not bad. I think the premise might be getting abit long in the tooth, but I would still watch a S3 if they dropped one. And I finally found a title from this last season, that as of at least Ep 4 has me happily coming back for more.. May I Ask For One Final Thing? I am enjoying this series quite abit, its got more action then No Punch Man S3.. just sayin. Hopefully it doesn't crap the bed in the end.. but if it does.. shhhh.. let me enjoy this brief respite from meh.. this Fall 2025 anime season.. 😆
  7. Another one I am way behind on.. is it worth staying with it? Isekai Quartet S3 just wrapped. Not bad, not great, but considering this season.. you get the point. I don't know much about the Shadow anime that was the addition this season, but it really felt like the odd duck out in S3.
  8. I am so far behind in this series.. its a advertisement for camping equipment with some take away value for camping tips.. If its as you say then I am just bailing on it now. Am I missing anything this season.. any sleepers?
  9. I'm not so sure about that.. I think the ending kinda went off the rails in just one episode, however it was the strongest title of this season. It has its faults, but compared to everything else this season...
  10. AC7 was... well it wasn't Assault Horizon at least. It was not good enough to keep my interest till the end. there I said it. The plot, the DLC nonsense.. I'm not holding my breath with 8, will wait for it to be out awhile before I decide to take the plunge.
  11. I think saying it was OK is kind. Absolutely nothing about it stands out, the resolution of the elf issues, the random fighting cause reasons. There was a hint of something with the village arc but it fizzled as quickly as it started. The whole OP protagonist in an isekai has been beaten to death.. this series is just more of the same.. Also wrapped up Let This Grieving Soul Retire S2.. I enjoyed it, I think it stands out from the vast nothing that was this season. There were some moments of this season where I was ready to hang it up, but it managed to keep me coming back. I'd say its worth a watch. I wrapped Tora Dora.. I have the original NIS America release in the large book style boxset, the artwork for its time stood out but the character designs now are showing their age. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes the Rom-Com style series, it does dabble at the end with the Harem like setup but it resolves itself pretty well. Not gonna lie I was rooting for Ami, never understood the fascination with loli characters. Next on my list.. maybe Last Exile.. that is a series I haven't cracked open since the early 00's
  12. so back to this season I guess.. Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai - Let this grieving soul retire.. or something like that. This one isn't bad, the MC has the whole Tyler from Irresponsible Capt Tylor vibe going. Not sure how its gonna shake out, but the last few episodes of S2 have been pretty amusing. Towa no Yugure - another not bad overall. The last episode though pulled a Charlotte on us dumping an entire seasons worth of lore and plot in 1 episode. The highly dubious choices made without ethical considerations was what had me. I'll stick around till the end at this point.
  13. Blandathon is probably the nicest description to this season I could use. Even One Punch Man S3 is a relative snooze fest. I've turned back to my personal collection, I just re watched Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure. Its probably been 20+ years since the last time I cracked these DVDs open. Its pretty clear this was an Eva clone. The nods to Eva are everywhere especially early on, but from the same studio and staff that did Tenchi Muyo.. so Tenchgelion. Not a bad show though overall, very much a product of its time. Next up for me.. ToraDora.. another series I have not watched in many years.
  14. I'm abit delayed was doing some traveling.. I enjoyed Season 2, I honestly expected they would wrap this season considering how fast it was going. They ended up ending with the Coffin Gathering.. not the Haniel cosplay. Also wrapped Dandadan, the final episode was pure win.. no way it ends on that note..
  15. I had a chance to do some reading coming back from my PA to Chicago roadtrip. It sounds like the Hemi is not dead, and jeep is apparently offering or going to offer it in certain models/trims. I've seen other articles corroborate the same information but I do not know if its available now or planned. I would also concur with not wanting to daily a car from the 60s-80s they are fun to play with but can be very unforgiving and temperamental when they want to be. It is worth noting that cars from the early to mid 00s are very much in demand right now.. assuming they have been taken care of and its not a hot mess. I've been watching vehicles like Rav4s from the early teen years very much in demand currently. Best guess for that is the current general build quality and pricing issues that seem to be across the whole spectrum of car manufacturers.
