OMG this is just perfect LOL
  3. Just got a back issue of TV-Kun I was missing, and when I opened it, this is pretty much sums up my experience going to the Wise Guys warehouse earlier this year!
  4. It was a silly joke about we've been here for 20+ years and have outlived many ISPs
  5. Yeah..but hyperlinks expire macrossworld pics are forever
  6. Love that diorama! This pic really gives the Regult the proper perspective for how BIG they really are
  7. Ok-I have a Diorama request Someone buy these DX 1/48 Gunpods, and make a diorama of an Over-technology assembly line creating GU-11 guns! Hack up few to be in various states of assembly, with little helper robots. With little 1/48 figures doing the work and inspection. One guy has a spray can near the end of the line with a template covering the UN Spacy logo (shown half painted) You would certainly have a unique setup! https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/1111592833
  8. dang...make the painted heads and sell them-this looks amazing!

I ordered 8/31 from Amazon JP and still no shipping notice for me yet. Hoping they process it soon! If you have a Buyee.jp account, there is a 10% off Honto.jp (a big Japanese bookstore there) coupon right now and they have both versions available for sale. These are the pre-coupon prices below. https://shop.buyee.jp/honto/shopping/search/category?translationType=&query=macross
  10. someone on YJ had a ve-1 posted upside down for the longest time, and I always got zeta vibes from it in thumbnail mode
  11. I wonder if this is the release button to remove the legs and the mounting plate then the delimiter mode plate has a plug in tab I wonder if the arms are attached to the leg plate, or if they stay on and tucked in for delimiter mode. Hard to tell from the limited pics edited: maybe they are attached to the leg plate-the uncolored version shows the break in the joint, and looks like it is mounted to the back
  12. Breaking out the VPN to see the video, they are using FORS AI Image enhancement on this release. Not sure what to think about this yet until I see some more results, but Kawamori is seen in the remastering studio again like he was with the DYRL release.
  13. I love this shot, I get serious Psycho Gundam vibes. I'd buy one just to display it like this Personally I think it looks really good. Agreed a sleeker fighter mode would be preferable-as that is how I display my items, but it still looks good to me. I do like seeing the amount of metal they are using in joints, I think it is going to need all the extra help it can get to be stable without the stand.
  14. This is one of my favorite posts here. We are literally seeing toy design in process. Love the updates!!!! Its one hell of a resume for sure.
  15. What a great film strip-wow!! Thanks for posting that one! Also adding another volume-a 2nd 8800 variant, with the price on the back of the book in a white square. The slipcovers share the same normal 8800 on both. So for you Gold Book completists...there are 6 unique variations of the physical book you'd need to find. Geez!!!

    Hi-Metal R

Love the box art...it damn well better be in the new Tenjin book coming out in a couple weeks!!
  17. So as far as I can tell, there are 5 editions of the book. Only Editions #1 & #2 had the Filmstrip. All editions have the Valkyrie Poster.
  18. Looks like the 8800 version had an August 1986 printing as well (4th edition) I wonder what drove this? 2 year DYRL anniversary? Flashback wasn't due until mid 87 I thought Just interesting!
  19. I think I could watch TV through this thing! Incredible imagination with this build out-you are crazy!!!
  20. I would say the 35th was the most subtle of all...you really need to squint to find the Macross theme

Wow-new artwork from one of the OG Macross staff.... The internet> Here are all the things WRONG with it! 😛
  22. Was packing until 1am , and then only got 1.5 hours sleep, so I was a complete zombie and don't remember most of the day But I have pictures to prove I was there and selling stuff to support the server fees here My daughter help me make a 'Vote for your favorite VF-1' valkyrie setup...it is a little tally push button to register your choice. We had 1982 Takatoku 1/55 > 2002 Yamato 1/48 > 2022 Bandai DX...20 years of development in each stage The final at the end of the day were: 50% Bandai DX 28% Yamato (fully stickered) 22% Takatoku (Bandai reissue with all the tampo was the stand in) I'll be posting the stuff that didn't sell in the For Sale page soon. I am very disappointed I didn't get pictures of anything else, I felt like complete crud and stayed in my little cave the entire time. I hope others can post pics of their setups and the displays. Chris Barretta was next to to me with his 1/55 Custom Anniversary heads and heat shields, they looked phenomenal!!! You'll see more of those here soon! And to my other side was XSToys with all his insano Takatoku and Vintage collection, I was amongst the greats! That is the XSToys's built 1/32Mosacto Legioss btw-it was amazing.
  23. No worries understand those shows can be crazy. Much appreciate your effort though. We have to find a way to spread the word
  24. Can I be the idiot in the thread who literally only today made the connection on releasing the milia quead and the max vf1s.... In my brain it was just the next battroid release...man I am dense sometimes. Love this dual type release!!
