    Hey Derex, glad you caved in & got the Galactica!! I have some PE parts on the way myself (raised Galactica letters & the Museum windows) and a lighting kit. I've used PE parts many a time and they are well worth it, you just need the right tools.... lots of patience.

    I agree with that hinge part needing to be fixed, Yamato takes care of that issue and I'll easily buy a TV VF-1S 1/48 Roy. It would be next to my DYRL version & 1:1 TV Roy Flight helmet!

    Your attention to detail is always very impressive, thats one mean looking Armored Valk! Also I listening to the Battlestar OST "Precipice" so this VF-1A seems even more deadly.

    I get the idea this film only just received the green light and far from anything is completed or filmed, but boy do I sense a Cluster Frak on the way from this one. If I'm completely wrong on that I'd welcome it!

    Hey Kyp, its been awhile since I've been on this thread. The decals on the Dark Viper is mix from my MK-VII decal sheet and the customs I got from JT-Graphics.com The decals from JT are good for Vipers with a White or Grey base coat, they will not work on black, hence I had to wait for the MK VII to come out. Also here is another MKII I'm working on!!

    It pays to be a good long time customer, I may not live in L.A. anymore but my old Hobby shop still treats me right, Initially I only ordered the MK-VII Viper and another Galactica kit. When UPS came today the box looked awfully big, when I opened it there was a VIPER MKII included, the kit was delivered to the Hobby shop all bashed up and they wrote it off as a loss and was considered a "Throw away, in the trash item". Instead a free bonus gift!!!! The box isn't pretty but the model is all intact in its plastic baggies! Now I just need my lighting kit and complete this new BSG.

    Heres a few shots of the Galactica with pods retracted, theres a few gaps to still fill in and you basically have to cut a lot of plastic out from the kit so they'll fit, but looks awesome, just think the Adama Maneuver! Also thats Adama's Valkyrie Battlestar, not the greatest resin kit, but its pretty good, wish it cam with the right decals.

    Nice Galactica so far electric indigo!! Are you doing a standard clean build or will this one include a lighting kit or even battle damaged? Just curious as I ordered another BSG and was considering lighting mine up, I converted my 1st one into FTL mode with the landing pods retracted.
