Capt Hungry Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 Very, very cool! Been wanting to do a Hasegawa valk with a BA scheme.
EXO Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 Nice Godzilla, only36 more valks to go huh? Try some panel lines and filling in the verniers... shoulda said that before you finished, but for some reason I see it better now. Great job.
do not disturb Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 nice job godzilla-sans! i need to get working on my again, but i've been lazy, over worked and drinking too much lately to get anything done.
Godzilla Posted August 1, 2004 Author Posted August 1, 2004 Thanks for the comments. The flash really kinda made everything a little more brighter than it should have been.
robodog562000 Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 Awsome, I remember going to an airshow to see the Blue Angel's when I was just kid.
Godzilla Posted August 2, 2004 Author Posted August 2, 2004 (edited) Hopefully I will get pics of the blue angels for the sea fair this week. Edited August 2, 2004 by Godzilla
Graham Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Godzilla can I add this to the MW Custom Toy Gallery? If yes, it would really help me out if you could make a 100 pixel wide thumbthail of each of the 20 pics. Graham
jardann Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 That's a great job! I was thinking the same as Bobe-pat, that a regular valk chest stripe in BA yellow would look nice. It's a great tribute to the awesome pilots of the Blue Angels. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Graham Sure. I will see when I can do it. I can take it I can send it to your email?
ewilen Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Maybe you could try taking the pics outdoors on a bright but overcast day? I.e., lots of diffuse light--will help counteract the glossy/shiny appearance.

I.e., lots of diffuse light--will help counteract the glossy/shiny appearance. Hmmm. Well I was taking pics at night while I was watching Mospeda. I can do that later in the week. As for the arrows on the bottom of the nose, I dunno. It is hard to do since there are too many moving parts. I will see what I can...
Skull-1 Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Nice job. Only complaint: The decals under the wings are too far outboard. Would look better about an inch and a half inboard... Very nice. The arrow on the Nose wouldn't be too hard for you to do I bet. Great job.
