Big s Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) $219 without a figure seems really high for the cost. It’s not like it transforms and has articulated legs and arms the $149 for the five figures is a bit more reasonable though since it is the full set Edited February 13 by Big s Quote
Chronocidal Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Yeah, I was more interested in the ship itself than the figures, but would also be annoying to not have a figure to put in it. Went ahead and pre-ordered both, I've got a year to plan for where to put it. Quote
sh9000 Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Preordered the figure set and Colonial Viper this morning. They're slated to ship in December. Quote

I guess they’re popular Quote
sh9000 Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 People will probably troop build and customize. Hoping there are more figures released beyond wave 1. A troop builder set of Cylons would be nice. Also a Cylon Raider. Quote

sh9000 Posted February 20 Author Posted February 20 https://factoryent.com/products/battlestar-galactica-cylon-centurion-3-75-inch-action-figure-3-pack $79.99 I'll check which place comes out cheaper for 3 after tax and shipping. BBTS would also need to add the tariff surcharge. Quote

I only picked a few that I would really really want, but honestly I’d probably be happy with everything there those would be my top picks available from the list. I think things like ceremonial outfits are cool, but can wait a bit and the Ovion is a cool idea as well, but wave three can have em Edited Tuesday at 07:22 AM by Big s Quote
sh9000 Posted Tuesday at 08:46 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 08:46 PM I chose Colonel Tigh, Commander Adama, Daggit and Boxey, Lieutenant Athena, Lieutenant Zac Adama, Lord Baltar, Serina, and Lieutenant Sheba. https://us10.list-manage.com/survey?u=11cccf0d3634bfef8e682daa4&id=22cf02a086&attribution=false New poll for other movie and tv series figures and vehicles. 1/18 Airwolf, Knight Rider, and 1983 V would be awesome. Big s Posted Tuesday at 10:54 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:54 PM I voted for Airwolf of course and Darkman, that guy has NEEDED an action figure for decades and Hellboy movies. I’m just hoping they’re all 1/18 instead of six inch. I feel like there are more than enough six inch Hellboy figures out there. A lot of the other stuff would be cool as well, but not really sure if I need action figures for them. I was on the fence about voting for B5 though Quote
sh9000 Posted Wednesday at 01:36 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 01:36 PM Airwolf, Knight Rider, 1983 V The Miniseries, A-Team, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Quote

sh9000 Posted Wednesday at 03:28 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 03:28 PM 1/18 Airwolf might be more of a sure thing as there's going to be a 1/1 helmet released and all of those series will have 1/6 figures planned. Quote

Definitely hoping for 1/18, I really don’t know where to put a 1/6th Airwolf. Heck I don’t really know where to put a 1/18th one either, but I’d definitely find a way Quote
Chronocidal Posted Wednesday at 04:09 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:09 PM Man, I don't need figures considering the scale, but I would love to see anyone tackle B5 ships in literally any format. Probably far too huge to be marketable, but a 1/18 Starfury would be insane to see. I keep hoping Master Replicas will announce a ship collection from that, there are just so many designs to pull from that series. Quote

Not really caring too much about the figures since I feel like they were less adventurous characters, but the fighters and ships were cool. I do think B5 overall is still better than Star Trek, but I always think of Trek as always having some type of crazy action. BSG had even more of an action feel and I totally see why they’re making figures for it, but B5 was more politics and ship battles than hand to hand so definitely would be cooler to have ship and fighters. Personally would really like to see models of the fighters by a decent company Quote

SA-23E Starfury Aurora, SA-32A Starfury Thunderbolt, Narn Frazi Heavy Fighter, Minbari Nial Fighter... all would be nearly impossible to pass up, but a more manageable 1/32-1/35 would be preferable. From the B5 Tech Manual (even 1/35 would be huge): SA-23E - L 9.56m x W17.87m = 53.11cm x 99.28cm at 1/18, 27.31cm x 51.05cm at 1/35 -- 20.91" x 39.09" / 10.75" x 20.10" SA-32A - L 15.54m x W18.70 (airfoils deployed) = 86.33cm x 1.04m at 1/18, 44.40cm x 53.43cm at 1/35 -- 33.99" x 40.95" / 17.48" x 21.04" Frazi - L 15.80m x W (not given) = 87.78cm x (?) at 1/18, 45.14cm x (?) at 1/35 -- 34.56" x (?) / 17.77" x (?) Chronocidal Posted Wednesday at 10:55 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:55 PM Yeah, the only Starfury I know of that exists is an ancient 1/72 kit, and even that was pretty large. The scale of that universe was part of made it so memorable. Quote
Big s Posted Thursday at 05:18 PM Posted Thursday at 05:18 PM A couple new Hammond collection Dino’s up for preorder. Dryosaurus and sinoceratops looks like they have detachable jaws rather than jointed ones. Quote
