I reckon this was released again to coincide with the Leynos remake for the PS4. It doesn't look like there are any differences with the original release.

For some reason, after playing Leynos 2 (my introduction to the series) back on the Saturn, I could never quite picture the AS looking like that. Same goes for the Valken.

As far as i can tell;

Sharper head unit and longer antennae. canisters on the shoulders and bottom leg covers. And different color.

Looks a lil more nimble mechanoid...

The only game I played of the Assault Suit Leynos franchise was the U.S. port, "Target Earth." I loved that game and the mecha back in the day. The anime vibe of space war was on the money in that game.

I know it says renewal, but all the pictures are from the old kit. Is there any info on what might be different.

This suit, is launched in the renewed package and PC material [Renewal Ver.].

Not too sure what that entails though...maybe more will come out in the release reviews...

It looks like the same old kit with a new box. I wish it had the option parts from the other releases.
