grogall Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) So my retailer sent out my Round Mover this morning and DHL already confirmed a Monday delivery that's really fast! guess it helps to have rockets on the backpack! 🤣 Really looking forward to this version! and then the Bloodsucker in July which is only three month away... The line is definitely growing on me! And really liking what Bandai has done so far. Not much to complain about either! maybe the price a little... But at least they don't fall apart on the slightest touch. A great line, to say the least! hope Bandai keeps them coming. 🤗 Edited May 2 by grogall Quote
grogall Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Reinforcement unit arrived today! Quite nice in dark green, seems that the scope turret is actually a lighter silver colour! Now looking forward too the Bloodsucker unit July-August.... Then hope they release a Brutishdog before years end! 🤗 Quote

grogall Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) New Bandai HG Scopedogs shown at the Hobby Show in Japan! What kind of AT is the left one? Looks really interesting! Edited 19 hours ago by grogall Quote

Looks like some kind of sniper custom. Can’t say I remember that one at all. Although I think the head should have its mid and short range eyes since the scope of the rifle seems connected to the head and would function as the extreme long range scope. Basically looks like it has redundant long range vision and no normal range vision and might just trip on a rock. Then again maybe on the other side of that scope is the short range lense Bandai really likes milking the Scopedog for any variants they can, but how about something else every now and then Edited 17 hours ago by Big s Quote
grogall Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Eh? Left side where the upper torso has a different shape... the sniper variation is on my right but maybe your left!? 😉 But still some nice variations, but was more wondering for HM-R variants and what's still doable, Funny though that the Bloodsucker AT is being done as a figure before being done as a model by Bandai. Since these are two different devisions inside Bandai Spririts I wander if they cooperate or can just do their own thing? Since Sunrise is now owned by Bandai they may as well milk it for what its worth! Find it amazing though that the series wich was considered a flop is actually still really strong after 40 years and how many companies have produced V.O.T.O.M. AT's in various scales for this series! And we still get too see new variants which we don't recognize... Quote

Sorry, I was half asleep and probably thought you meant standing to the left rather than pictured on the left. Not sure about it, but it does have that kind of battler custom sort of look. and I’m not really surprised that Bandai hasn’t done the bloodsucker yet. They only seem to be doing scopedog variants and Wave had their kit, max factory also did a recent kit and theirs the toy, so I’d imagine it’s gonna be a while if they ever decide to do a non scopedog and I don’t really think Votoms was a flop. Gundam was a flop in its og run and got cancelled and same with southern cross and a lot of other anime in those years, but the creators always expected Votoms to get cancelled and they were surprised after each one of the story arcs that they were able to continue. Supposedly that’s why they planned the show in that way to have an ending in case it ever got the early axe. I think their success even surprised themselves Quote
