Yeah, Penny-Arcade put up a website on this.  They even have other system emulators for it.  Makes the PSP a little more appealing now.

Sadly, most of the emulators are still pretty primitive.

They've gotten NES and 8Bit GameBoy running full speed with sound, but not much else(though PCEngine and SNES are close to it).

Or so I've heard.

Apparently, there are also reports of it killing the memory sticks. Personally, I'm going to wait for them to get things a little more stable.

i wouldnt say 'the newest 1.5'

since 1.51 and 1.52 are the newest, and neither work with this release.

yes it require 'swapping memory sticks' which is pretty sketchy ;)

My mistake.

I don't keep up too closely with random revisions.

And hey, media swapping is a traditional lockout bypass.

When the sega cd emulator is running so I can play Snatcher on a PSP, then I will get one!

Hey, 320*224. Almost a perfect fit(provided you anti-letterbox it to preserve aspect ratio).

Original Lunar 2 on a PSP...

Damn, but that'd be tempting.

Yeah, I never "beta test" anything for free. Give this thing a couple more months for the kinks to be worked out at the least...

yeah the hack was released yesterday...a very ghetto way to do a hack but still good....well at least it's a step in the right direction...even if it is a dangerous direction...but all homebrews when they're first released dangerous anyways right? ahh well i'll be waiting until there's a safer release since i don't wanna spend 250 again cuz my psp turned into a brick

No.

They usually don't require regular mucking with the hardware in ways the components were not intended to be mucked with.

If you're lucky, they don't require any mucking of any sort(*cough*Dreamcast*cough*).
