Myersjessee Posted March 9, 2005 Share Posted March 9, 2005 Okay..here is the deal...I need some help for the models section (yep..yet more) My scanner isn't big enough for the large Hasegawa boxes. I can scan everything else, build the pages, and take the pictures of the parts..but I can't scan the entire box art. I tried scanning it in 2 parts and joining them...but it's not working as well as I would like. I could really use some help either A) with a good merge program (preferably freeware! ) B) some volunteers with a larger scanners to scan all the box covers for me. How about it...any of you model builders/collectors out there want to scan some box art for me? I'd love the scans at the highest resolution you can pull off. Cause I have a few background sized images of a few of the boxes, mainly the VF-1 series of kits. They aren't in huge resolution, but I think they're all about 1280*1024. Thanks....if you can ZIP them when you email them. Grayson..doh! I did! Any volunteers to cover what Grayson was going to do? Anyone know any good pic merge programs? Basically, I have most of the Hasegawa kits (just none of the transparent and metalized ones) but my scanner is too small...so I have 3 choices...1, scan the top and bottom of box and mix them together...(The problem here is I can't seem to get a perfect merge) 2 - Take a picture with my digicam. Not as good as a scan, but I have a good camera and can take a nice high res photo. 3) get someone with a bigger scanner to scan the box art. Should I just burn them onto a CD and snail mail them to you? I can reduce the resolution to fit under the 10 MB limit. Also, did you want me to scan the sides of the boxes?
