I think it technically does, but with the Regult I preordered one and ordered another once it went into normal stock status, and got both from HLJ without issue. I'm gonna shoot for that again with the CF and see how it goes. The CF will be my first HMR valk so I'm really curious to see if/how I like them compared to my Yamatos. At the moment I personally love how the Regults and Glaug scale to a 1/60 Yamato, even though I know it's incorrect. I want to set the CFs up as guards/close support for the Monster until the destroids get their releases.

what's the general consensus on Figma figures? Well made? Worth the price? I'm just now starting to look into some of them like that Mk43 Iron Man and such. -

watching the video review... IDK, I think it looks really slick for an SD figure and certainly better than the old floppy joke machine I have (that's missing an arm). I wouldn't spend $80 on it, but I'd drop $40 easily. Other than because of the price point I don't get why anyone would compare it to a non-SD figure though. Apples to Oranges. It of course won't be perfect. Is it better than any other available super deformed? At first glance I'd say yes. One of the pics in this thread made me laugh though. That top down pic of it in the black packing tray reminded me of the Anvil Aerospace F7C Hornet with the backpack sticking out so far

the Monster may be currently warming shelves at prices enviable to those who preordered them at MSRP, but imagine how rare and costly they will be 2 or 3 years from meow.

Hmm... if I were to spend 35,000 yen on a Macross collectable, would I rather it be an SDF-1 or a 1/35 VF-1?

I would love to get the "option parts" that were briefly available with newer v2 1/60s. Those would also be cool in 1/48 scale if they could be made to work.

i haaaaate hate hate hate revoltech joints, they always feel like they're gonna break--and in fact I did have one snap on me on the WALL-E figure. I don't get why they use such weak plastic on those, yet charge $30-60 for them.

any indication they would release the armor packaged with a valk? I missed out on the valks themselves.

So, what I really want to do (if I can ever scrounge up the money to do it) is create a display that would allow me to have a showcase a shelf (or shelves) with an LED back-lit diorama background using swappable printed acrylic sheets (or whatever would work)--like a star field, or planetary landscape, animation cel, etc. I've been searching and searching for ways to make it happen or to find examples good enough to show to a contractor to explain what I mean without much luck. But I did see this, lol http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60241544/ kinda small, but neat.

woah, I just got caught up on this thread and the Detolf mount idea was brilliant! Maybe I'll hate my Detolfs a little bit less if I get a few of these.. lol

is it possible that they were having issues getting money from your banking company, affecting many other customers as well? would it have made any difference to have used an existing paypal balance instead of having it pull from your banking account?

If I were y'all, I'd challenge that policy. I bet you could get it overturned based on common sense logic. Plus, I would bet a Monster that the person who wrote that policy has probably violated it.

has anyone explored getting custom shelving built onto a wall for display purposes instead of buying one form of case or another? I have a pair of Detolfs but I loath them to no end. They're cramped, rickety, and hard to move!

Every time I read someone with that problem I think to myself man that's so easily avoidable. Just ship stuff to your work! No one is ever going to care or not sympathize with someone who has something shipped to work to avoid that issue of no one being home during the day. Everyone has that issue.

I know, I know, I KNOW it's not the right scale, but, I do really think the 1/60 VF and 1/??? Glaug look freakin awesome next to each other just as general mecha display. And I don't fancy myself a purist. Plus a 1/60 Glaug would be prohibitively large, lol. also, man that Prisma app is neat

Contact the post office and ask them to hold it for you instead of returning it. Then go pick it up. In the future, try having stuff delivered to your work if possible.

Man I really am trying hard to resist getting into the 3rd party TF collecting but what yall show off in here is so amazing looking. All I have at home is an original MP-01 Prime, Bumblebee and Prowl. I don't want to replace characters I already have but there are some I'd love to get that either don't exist from Takara, are more than I want to spend on them, or I don't like how they turned out. It still boggles my mind that I only spent $85 back in the day on the Takara import MP-01.
