  1. Well ok, I can see believing in your music part applying to Ranka in episode 12. You wouldn't even do something like that, if you didn't believe in it. I still think its unfair comparison, given that it was a pure piloting scene in Sheryl's case. Sheryl didn't sing to the Vajra. That wouldn't even have been an option for her since the "soundboosters" weren't installed anymore. She was trying to get herself and the wounded Mikhail away from a rather dangerous situation having only her own limitied pilot training to rely on. Though I can see people arguing that attempting to fly away instead of staying put may be what ultimately attracted those Vajra that shot them down, that's still a different ballgame. Wether Sheryl believes in her music or not has nothing to do with her being shot down in episode 14.
  2. Could follow your reasoing until here. Ranka wasn't flying the VF-25 in episode 12, Mikhail was. Said Mikhail was out of commission in episode 14 thus Sheryl had to rely on her own pilot abilties. Believing in your own music had nothing to do with it.
  3. Only way I see the possibility of seeing older VF's is if we get more flashbacks of the 117th. Possibly with a young Ozma piloting one... Though you never know, if All that VF is what it holds up to be, then they certainly should have the models for it...
  4. No matter how much I might like Fire Bomber, it's not going to make me vote for that abomination! Though it was the least offensive of the SF valkyries.... agh, you still can't tempt me! Voted for Alpha One, simply because its by far more memorable than the other 'regular' versions. Also voted for Omega One because I liked that whole controlled by brainwaves thingy, even though it was faulty and seemingly scrapped in the end.
  5. C.C. did indeed as it turns out lose her memories, thinking she's a peasant girl servant and lelouch her new master. Sad, but oh so Moe at the same time Anyway, very interesting developments.
  6. My money is on that they're some corporate bigwigs/scientists from Galaxy with ties to the 117th fleet that banded together for some common goal. Whatever this goal is, it involves manipulating the Vajra, and probably involves achieving something that even the protoculture were unable to. They plan to achieve this "Dream of the protoculture" all for the glory and betterment of themselves.
  7. Kanji isn't my strongest side either, but I've enough dictionaries to bury said burglar We'll see. I'm kind of itching to translate that info page about different macross ships, but the preview scan i've seen ha such low resolution it hurts my eyes trying to read.
  8. I think I'd be willing to lend a hand... Greed mode specially if someone would get me nice big quality scans of it if I did End Greed mode
  9. How is this worthy of being labeled as spoilers? All I see is opinion. And did you have to make a new thread for it?
  10. Unknown. But as far as they're concerned she's outlived her usefullness, going so far as to call her a failure. They intended to have her killed when they activated the dimension eater in episode 13. Manipulating the Vajra seems plausible, almost a given, but to what end?
  11. The subs that call him warrant officer in episode 15 are mistaken. And his new rank is å°‘å°‰ 2nd Lieutenant/Ensign EDIT: Thought I recalled someone mentioning this earlier, and right as I was Shun mentioned it 2 pages back.
  12. You can already feel the vibes that in the end it's going to be about the evil technological cyborg Galaxy versus the good ecofriendly bioplant Frontier
  13. I know that, that's how I'm making my own sub for the episode after all
  14. Well there's no cold hard evidence yet. But first we have photo crystal aboard Global, like you mentioned, then there's the fact that both of them can't seem to remember their pasts but have flashbacks of the same parents and each other. Of course Brera might just be a childhood friend, but that doesn't sound convincing as to why he was on the family photo. No proof, but I personally feel like people thinking otherwise are kind of grasping at threads I believe it was said during some interview somewhere that during early planning, the idea for the main love triangle of the show was it to have Ranka put in between Alto and some other male (And i'm willing to bet this other male was definately going to be Brera). It was changed however to include Sheryl, who was originally going to be a minor character that Ranka looks up to. My guess is it's going to retain a bit of these elements with Brera being a bit of a "rival" (for lack of better term) to Alto concerning Ranka, until some later point of the show where it will be revealed what everyone "knew" all along, that he is in fact her brother.
  15. While I do agree with you, in all fairness Megumi's version of the ED wasn't really as good as Mayn's version. Mayn doesn't sound very good a cappella in my opinion though, but she makes a very good plaything for YK to include in her compositions
  16. Very talky episode and the raws weren't too speedy either...
  17. Save for Aimo, all of the songs she sung in that episode is on that single, it even had her rendition of My Boyfriend's a pilot wonder if all of it makes it on OST 2
  18. Well that certainly seems like Grace's intent... but I dunno about succeeding... rather I'm positive she won't be.
  19. Oh, I like Trianguler as well. The reason to change the opening wouldn't be because of something in the show, but rather to promote the new song. It's been called the new op already, so it's only a matter of time, I think.
  20. As did, SDF:M ... but I believe its been known for a while now that they would be changing it.
  21. Try 10 free lunches ... likely on a daily basis... y'see the they're just an expression of the profitable situation I see him being in... though, it does come with the risk of wrathful giant women with access to militairy gear should one ever decide to capitalize on it...
