While not a design flaw perhaps, I sometimes find her eyebrows as looking a little weird (too thick?). Strange as most of the time that's not an issue.. I guess it's due to half a dozen different groups being behind the animation.

Upon subsequent viewings, I've come to the conlusion there is: 1. SMS Skull squadron VF 25's as well as VB-6. (5 craft) 2. Alpha One and Omega One. (2 craft) 3. Two squadrons of 4 white VF-25's only seen very sparingly. (8 craft) 4. Two squadrons of what looks like 4 blue VF-1's. (8 craft) 5. "Ranka" and "Sheryl" type blue VF-25's. (2 craft) Could be wrong though

Did look like alpha and omega one, right down to the paintjob... Anyway, the absense of a lot of other VF's kind of lends itself that this wasn't all there is. (What exactly is in here anyway? Part from the YF19/21, the SMS 25's complete with the VB-6 there's a bunch of blue valkyries.. most look like 25's, but at a few shots, the profile looked different..?

Hmmm or what if each new volume gives access to another 2 minutes? ... no clearly too optimistic

Basara/Guitar! option should really be Basara/Basara ... he doesn't really care bout his guitar at all.. any guitar will do in aiding his real passion: his own voice and making people listen to it Anyway, I agree with your sentiments on Shin/Sara, and it does come off as one of the stronger ones in the franchise. Heck, Zero is more less the only Macross where the factor that "wins over the plot" isn't actually music but the love between the main characters. Anyway, I voted for Roy/Alice, since it came off as pretty strong too, but cruelly cut short.

Memory might be failing me, but didn't City 7 designs have like, a ton of buildings modeled from famous ones from old earth? like a big ben next to an eifel tower next to a empire state building etc? They just weren't shown very much in the show? Or am I confusing it with the culture park from Macross II ? Either way, beyond what was already mentioned, the rest of City 7 felt utterly forgetable. In contrast, Island one feels like a very vibrant metropol, fusing san fran with parts of Tokyo (with these city blocks even named after their model cities)... wonder if there's more... well surely there is, but which ones

Well I suppose it's my pessimistic intuition speaking... But really, I think the chances are rather slim. Also that variant of the VF-17 could be a very recent one, which is why it is favored over the 19 and 22. (real world reasons aside, of course)... but i dunno, maybe one appears as a CF VF of Macross Galaxy
