In the Macross Frontier prologue NMC colonies have the New Macross Class Aircraft Carrier designation.

The White Whale is several million years old. It can't die and it eats reaction weapons for breakfast. The Zolan's ancestors called it a god. The same ancestors could be the Protoculture. What we do know about the SA is that they use giants or Zentradi for battle. Exsedol in Macross 7 felt the enemy they were fighting seems familiar but dismissed it due the fighters being for miclones. At very least the SA has a disposition for the same paint scheme as the Varauta forces.

Looking closely at Battle 1 which at first I assumed at first is identical to Battle 7 I found this not to be true. The shoulder sections and leg secrions are not identical. Now I postulate that each and every NMC Battle section has its own unique design. Which makes sense since every aircraft carrier does have differences. Also the landing decks is different with 13 and Frontier Battle 1 Battle 5 Battle 7 Batle 13 Battle Frontier Battle 7 Battle 13 Battle Galaxy Battle Frontier The differences which is unique to each Battle section could explain how they are easily identified like in VFX-2 and Frontier's finale.

It is pretty disturbing how pretty Alto is in the same spread as Minmay.

But episode 24 does bear into question whether Ghosts have internal fold engines. One Frontier AIF-7S Ghost was scouting the Vajra planet.

Er... That's Robotech where the Zentradi chased the Macross for its protoculture energy. In Macross the reason Vrlithwai chased the Macross is because he was intrigued that the miclones have created reaction weapons and is able to rebuild it. Macross Frontier's ending makes me wonder if we misunderstood the nature of the Supervision Army. We know that the Protoculture worship the Vajra and perhaps even Space Whales both of which can be labeled super dimensional creatures. Here comes a bunch of super dimensional energy being creating their own faction with both Protoculture and Zentradi. I mean it is possible that there are Protoculture that with free will chose to side with the Protodevlin. Collaborators perhaps but what if they saw them as new gods? Freewilled Protoculture commanding the brainwashed Supervision Army forces with allegiance to the Protodevlin.

Comparatively Alto is more maverick than Hikaru was. But is easier to manipulate as his emotions rule him. As others said he goes with the flow of events and not very critical minded. Hikaru on the otherhand began from a more a pacifistic point of view as a stunt pilot. With leadership skills and level headedness when he became a military pilot. Hikaru knew ending the conflict does not mean extermination of the other side. I can see Alto getting into conflict with the more by the book pilots like Gamlin. Though a pilot singer like Basara going into the middle of battle would be annoying to Alto their philosophies would clash.

In Macross II universe they did snatch the factory satellite but it occured in the 2050's instead of 2011. Fairy squadron is a bunch of unkillable bridge bunnies. The Gloria's bridge bunnies got blasted though.

I'm surprised they only found fourteen Protoculture influenced worlds. Though we don't know if Lux got written off since it kinda blew up. As for the digging part UN Spacy found the Protodevlin in M7 and the bug technology in M3. Guess its fifteen worlds influenced by the Protoculture since there is Birdman image artifact on the Vajra homeworld.

Interesting this is the second time I've heard of a planetary based recently Zentradi. The first being Veffidas.

From what I know UN Spacy in Macross II has a defense perimeter at Jupiter. Which to me is a little useless as enemies can fold on top of Earth without the hassle. Macross Plus defense grid of satelites and ships makes more sense.

Indeed while statistics on length exist, we don't have statistics to internal volume and space.

Is there anything in the rules that general Macross tech discussion is prohibited to that thread? Besides this thread and other threads addresses specific topics. The discussion in the Macross Frontier Mecha/Technology is comparison and contrast between the new , which is Macross Frontier, and the old , the other series of the Macross franchise. Heck if tech discussion is only limited in that thread Azrael would have closed the Macross Chronicle thread or March's Macross Mecha Manual thread.
