  1. i remember that car that ran on french fry grease. that tv documentry was cool on how those 2 kids heavly modified the engine to accept it and ran across the country.

I am very surprised on how well the hybrids are selling now, my friend owns a car dealership and he was hesitant on the hyrbids so he ordered only 5 cuz if they dont sell they are stuck with it, but with the gas prices being this high he can't get them to stay on the lot for very long.

  2. I started a thread about Macross items in the Philippines a couple of months ago. There are also several other Filipino members in MW (Bub, Vampire Hunter D, StealthLurker, hikaru, Bobe-Patt, Angel's Fury, etc.). Personally, I don't think you're gonna find it for that much cheaper, save yer pesos for San Miguel Lites, sizzling platters, and a villa in Boracay.

    Ah....the thread is located HERE:D

PS - I might back back this summer. MW Meet at Powerplant?

Bobe-Pat's not Filipino. He wouldn't know he's in Manila if a jeep decorated with a hundred metal horses hit him.

    or hundreds of tricycles

i perfer Esq over sam miduel :p

  3. I once did an exhaustive analysis of the pros and cons of the Macross Class ship on the old boards a few years back. I concluded the ship was most effective in Fortress mode and it was best never to transform :)

i agree about that. playing with a 3d model of the macross on lightwave i noticed that about 5 of the larger weapons don't face forward in storm.

  4. Which, brings up another point:  The Macross also seems to use secondary engines to propel itself "forward" (sorta face-first) when in Storm Attacker mode.  So, given this capability, it would appear to have an advantage over a Yamato-type vessel.  It can adjust course by merely firing up a different set of engines.

for the macross that would be a double edge sword. if the yamato and the macross in storm where faceing each other directly and the macross used its main engine which only propels it upward then the yamato just needs to point all its turrets up exposing macross to more while the same to yamato.

if yamato was broadside to the macross when it happen then maybe it would favor yamato, being broadside it would be a smaller profile from the above view.

    edit:

if the macross was upside down to yamato then macross would win cuz i dont think yamato has turrets on the bottom of the ship.

  5. i think i agree with ewilen (ill let you know for sure when i get a masters on physics and space combat). space combat won't realy matter which way you point with proly ball turret type (like in the WW2 bombers) weapons plus Loads of Missile launchers which proly be the main weapon for space ships till either energy based weapons is a reality. just unload the missiles on your enemy and use countermeasures to take down as many enemy missiles as you can.

  6. 2: my bandai vf-1a cf that my brother poored epoxy all over. all the joins was so solid that it takes a hammer to move them.

Dude, that's just wrong... didja' beat his ass?

nah i just messed his computer that soon as he sign on to the net. it accessed every porn site avail till it locked it up including some of those ones that does tons of pop ups and plays the sound "look at me im gay"

  7. I guess this puts them one step closer to lasering a giant Nike swoosh into the moon, building a huge floating Taco Bell billboard visible from space or generally raping space in the name of corporate greed like we know they will.

At least when space flight was dominated by nations you had honor, nobility and courage. Nasa and the Soviets ignoring the cold war and linking up in orbit...

... now all we have to look forward to is the McDonnaldland space station, the Escallade moon SUV and the Sony Moonman.

    <_<

    Bitter? Nooooooooooo. :p

you might be right. I always wondered about can anyone claim a planet/moon/asteroid as their own and make money off them by selling/mining/ect...

i better make my own rocketship and claim mercury so i can start my instant tanning service shop.

  8. Another interseting note is the prices listed for each Q-Rau.

They appear to be as follows:

    Max - 10,290yen

    Millia - 12,440yen or 13,440yen?

either way....that's a pretty good difference between the two!

    Wonder why?

........ No fig with the Max? ( Can't imagine a pilot figure that is arguably "unlikeable" can add 2,000-3,000yen to a piece. )

    ......hmmmmmmmmmm

the cost of making the mold for max would kill the profit, but it won't bother me to try to find a little max figure and stuff him in the suit.

i can't realy tell if it looks like a vb-6 wished there was better pics of that.
